Too much zoom-in/zoom-out (and inverted) : a disease for animations (, dragon ball super : battle of gods ... alike) ; rich in dynamism, poor in movieness :/ Outside my point of view, the job (2d/3d) of the drawers/animators is outstanding. I guess the studio miss a theater choregraphist (or movie realisator) for render with acute-range camera good-exploitation. I guess you will not cut off the fact that you have to draw more ; far-jumping or close-jumping a sprite for not have to deal with mid-range (have-to-draw-sprite) rendering ... do not pay always.

TheGreyGap i see. If you pay less attention to Levi and more to the background, it seems that the camerawork pans up and down side to side; all I'm saying is that it surprises me greatly. I was under the impression that the camerawork would be more dynamic but I guess that's where the characters' dynamic movement seels the shot. Levi really looks like he's under dire straights having to maneuver through such confines with the camera perspective.

Mappa isn't really great studio like Bones or Ufo but it's still pretty good compared some studio. Their animation is only 1 step under Wit, so it's not too worrying, and there is hope to rival it. And it's also child of Mad House.

Imagine they managed to be consistently paying close attention to DETAIL on each character. Drawing them by hand, not 3D (except for the buildings) is such intricate line work. Kudos to all of them!

@@Gemini053 this is actually not very really helpful but.... for 2D anime, if you have at least the basic understanding for animation, good at drawing (anatomy is a big plus for anime), can adapt to different art style freely, can work as a team, can work with only 1-2 days deadlines per project (sometimes you would get longer deadlines), and can draw at least 50 sheets a day then you are all good. being able to drawing complicated scenes (like this video) is a big plus. but different animation company would prefer different skills and requirements tho. as for me, my drawing skill sucks so my training didn't go as well as I had hoped for. I haven't started real work yet so I don't really know what kind of hell my seniors had gone through. 😂😂

I'd hope they have an original back-up copy and that they make frequent saves as they work that also get backed up. (Plus someone that frequently checks in/reminds them to check and make sure they're not missing something important, such as working on the wrong layer) That way, even if they accidentally do mess up, the whole thing isn't ruined, so they don't start entirely from scratch.

After seeing this I think we should stop insulting studios like studio Deen for example Like the studio and the animators suffer so much and animators even pull too many all nighters so that they'd be able to make a 20 sec scene and it gets even worse for the studios who have continuous, ongoing anime like Black Clover Man they don't even get paid enough for this kind of job

nah why dafuq would u even defend them? If they have no time or money to animate sds then they should've delayed it! I would rather wait for them to animate it perfectly! Also it's obvious that they rushed it bcuz they handed it to a small animation team and DEEN studio didn't even animate it. I think DEEN studio was busy with another anime at that time (Knosuba I think) and they should've focused on one anime first if they couldn't handle animating another one. It's absurd that they didn't even give justice to the epic fights SDS have like Escanor vs Meliodas! If you're on their shoes would u like to give the fans a bad anime that you didn't put effort to? How sick of u to release a bad project that we waited for years to get animated and you didnt even gave justice to the manga and the artist.

@@commentwar7949 look I'm talking about all studios in general Studios have a schedule and a due date they cannot miss Delaying isn't as easy as you think Because 1) contracts they do with other companies or host tvs sometimes have dates and these dates are hard to change 2) 60% of anime fans hate delays or waiting Take mha fans as an example, they can't stand waiting a year for s5 You and me are okay with delays but I can assure you that the majority of anime community does NOT stand it the budget can also result in many problems Imagine working your ass off day and night to make the episode but you don't take that much money anyways Studio deen had a lack in budget + they didn't have time Assigning to smaller team also is not what makes the anime bad A small team was assigned to make black clover after the first studio working with pierrot went bankrupt Pierrot prioritized Boruto over black clover so they didn't care that much about black clover Yet black clover was able to deliver decent art especially in the latest episodes Even one time the team worked without sleeping for days And they still delivered the episode

The art industry as a whole isn't hard to break into it you just gotta take the time to learn it but many people drop it so it's in dire need of new artist constantly so people get overworked quit or out right hospitalized and end up having to keep doing that till someone new comes in, and studios can't pay people more because if they do the studio can go under lots and lots of issues with it, if there was more artist, more artist willing to also do stuff like this, things would be a bit better for them

I cant even imagine the time it took to make this. But I appreciate every animator and artist that went into making this gorgeous scene. I was squealing in delight when I first saw it.

@@attackonlevi5383 the best animators of wit studio stopped doing aot after S2, that's why there staff was changed, they want into kabanari and its movie and then vinland saga, and now it's season 2, im not saying wits animation is mediocre or bad, we haven't seen consistent animation from aot since S2, it was only good for around 5-10 % and the CGI they(wit) used on characters, collosal, horses was dogshit coz they were outsourced, they don't have experience with CG, mappa has ton of experience of 2d and 3d, look at JJK and tell me if anything produced from aot comes even close to consistency of great animation that JJK offered

This scene’s animation will forever be a masterpiece.

Every second with Levi on the screen is beautiful

This scene is a great example of how to use CGI (everything in the background) to enhance 2D animation and make it look even more epic.

levi’s hair is👌🏻, the movement, the background, the effects, i love so much 💓 (thank you animators for creating these masterpieces for us. we will appreciate it with all our heart 💖)

mappa had 8 months to animate the whole season, wit took 5 months to make this 10 second scene....

Levi is so badass, this is one of the best animated scenes I’ve ever seen. amount of work that goes into scenes like this is just unbelievable. animators really deserve better pay

That's AMAZING. I can't imagine the amount of dedication to their craft the person who made this has.

season 3 was peak aot animation , really sad to see season 4 , if only mappa had more time thye couldve even come on top of season 3

@@dechrysoph5298 YoU DonKey, s3 was made by the same company as 1 and 2, so Wit studios had models made from previous seasons while Mappa didn't ;) even though they did had ideas of how the character looked alike, they probably had to start from the beginning while WIT didnt

PROPS to all animators and to their saint like patience and perseverance! Holy shittt

I'm missing Wit Studio already :'(

all i could think while watching this scene was how hard the animators worked on it. the movement is like you are right there. its amazing

The level of respect I have for these animators is beyond words

Somehow this feels just as cool as the final product of the animation, maybe even better in a way.. I don’t know if it’s the contrast in colors or just the fact that we see it more clearly but my appreciation for the work of this scene went up by a thousand more then before.

Y pana que mieeeedo, esos equipos de maniobras tridimensionales se ven que son dificilísimos de usar. ¿Vieron la mortal en el aire que Levi hizo sin estar sujetado de algún edificio para posteriormente lanzar los cablecitos esos?
