Great driving Kevin. Here is a man who has owned many a fast car and he says "I never thought you could get so much pleasure out of a little 1. -- whatever it is." We can all learn something from that remark, because most people who desire these extremely fast cars can't even use or enjoy the performance of their "little 1- whatever it is". Kevin certainly can and he now knows that you don't need a very fast expensive car to get a buzz out of driving. I rode motor bikes before I got to drive a car and I soon learnt that small motor bikes can be great fun. You can't throw a Harley around like you can a small agile 250cc. This was one of the most informative "Top Gear shows" I have ever watched. Thank you Kevin.

i love grand designs and top gear, its good to see them mix.

Believe it or not he hosts one of those 'let's go around the world and look at unique houses' shows called Grand Designs. Some streaming service will surely have many many episodes to find of it.

Just like i though ... Do you hear downshifting before the turn when he brakes? that when u know that lap time is gonna be a good one.

Yeah i heard that too.. Then it shocked that he is a centimeter close to the tires.. He uses the track so well.. Smooth 2nd to the last corner..

It's amazing, how neat his lines through the curves were. Apparently, that makes a big difference in the overall time...

I like to listen to both of them. Very intelligent guys. As for Mr McCloud's lap, well done! Anyone can drive a car fast, but accuracy is a skill.

i love Jeremy Clarkson , i have always loved this show because of him and the other cast... this show would be nothing without him.. the cast together have the perfect chemistry however i would still watch the show if it was just Jeremy Clarkson .... good job to all

Grand Designs would be my 2nd or 3rd favorite show on tv, behind Top Gear & Time Team. Great to see Kevin on TG, and being second all time is great. Speaking of Time Team, perhaps TG could get Tony Robinson, Mick Aston, or Phil Harding on to do a lap? Now there's an idea!

Has to be one of the nicest people on TV.

Excellent show as always it's a shame that other TV shows don't share the experience with the guests or audience what a show that would be other television networks definitely can learn off Top gear a what people really want they want to be involved.

WOW! What a nice run! Not that "flamboyant" but amazingly smooth.

From all these reasonably priced car interviews, there seems to be a hot chick behind the celebrities all the time.

I remember when this first aired when Jeremy said “One minute, forty................five” everyone stopped everything and gasped with shock. All air pressure in the building dropped.

Wow! McCloud is one of my miths! I love his program and I will use a lot of ideas I've seen in the series in my house (work will start next week!)! Thank you for posting!

Kevin McCloud is a top bloke. Not only is he a damn good presenter, but he's super modest with it. I love it when cocky celebs come onto TG expecting to put in a decent lap and fail, but I like it even more when one comes on, genuinely aiming for a decent mid table time, only to find themselves at the top of the board. Well done Kevin... \o/

Kevin McCloud was brilliant: cracking bloke, despite eco views :)

I always thought, watching the earlier episodes of GD's, where it makes a cameo appearance every now & then, it was a Speed 12! Bit disappointing to hear it was only a Cerbera....Then again, our only experience with TVR's in this country is pretty much limited to GT3 & GT4 on Playstation 2, so no wonder I can't tell the difference!
