Kevin Hart Speaks On Bill Cosby, Bill Maher & That Time He Almost Became A Stripper

Ойын-сауық

Kevin Hart stopped by to speak with The Breakfast Club about his new book I Can't Make This Up: Life Lessons. With his movie and comedy career booming right now, Charlamagne couldn't help but ask why Hart chose to write a book now. "I've got too much information. I've got too much information, too many stories that I can tell that can be of use to others," Hart said of his decision. "I'm not selfish with information in any way, shape, or form. Information is key, especially when you're talking about success. A lot of wrongs that I've done and a lot of mistakes that I've made, I think, can be valuable to other people."

Bo Vice a lot of people aren't in the position to be men of their words. Poverty controls ones morals. He took the steps necessary to remove himself from poverty, and resources supported his efforts....As a result Now he's in a position to be a man of his word! If you listen to him describe his mistakes he's sharing with you the hardships of not having the resources nor mental capacity(education) necessary to acquire the privilege of being "a man of his word". He's blessed!

Kev says something around the 32min mark that I've been saying for a long time (I'm paraphrasing here) but he basically says that because his father wasn't the best parent it made him (Kev) a better parent. And I wish more ppl got that same take away from their childhoods because all too often you see ppl perpetuate the insanity of their upbringing rather than take it for what it was and find the positive in it, which is that, IF you had a really shitty childhood you should now know exactly how NOT to raise your own children. And that's what I've always said about being a parent; "I may not know the best way to raise my kids, but I certainly DO know how NOT to." and that's half the battle cause knowing what not to do has got to be better than knowing nothing at all. But yea, even if you had the most abusive parents on earth or the shittiest childhood ever, if you're still here today then someone did something right. And there has to be a positive side to all that negativity... even it it's only, what not to do.

yup that's a very rational way to see things. sad truth though is that when kids have shitty parents they aren't learning what not to do, they're learning to be shitty people, and that's hard to unlearn. luckily for Kev he had other strong role models that showed him a better way to be. also, he just has it in him also; like he tells a story about not wanting to let down an adult who expected more from him. maybe that's what the black community needs, a little of that Asian family thing where you expect way too much from your kids. so much that even if they achieve only half of what's expected it's still a shit ton of achievement.

It shows how they react to things outside what they're used to when they go out on a press tour to promote an album or whatever. THat's my take on it. He also just might be a dick. Hard to tell.
