Much respect to Patrick, unlike many other interviewers who would ask irrelevant personal questions just to milk the views, you kept it very professional and focused only on the parts that will help the viewers learn about success and the process to get to the top. You're really good at this

This conversation should be way more popular. This conversation style should be more popular too. Patrick has such a terrific and humble way to ask questions. It’s evident Patrick’s truly connecting and allow us to connect seamlessly. Thank you for keeping it real and showing us more of the wonderful persona of Kevin Hart. Kevin - you’re an inspiration!

Patrick its a gift and a talent to make the people on your show give you an entire different interview and answers then they normally do, i hope you know that. Ive seen numerous interviews with Kevin and every time he just plays it at a distant with a lot of jokes. This time we saw the real story and a part of his life .. keep it up man you should be on tv honestly

The dialogue about him "shedding" his character and figuring out who Kevin Hart is...and branding his authentic self....is so key. That doesn't get talked about enough. I'm having to learn that as I transition from corporate into entrepreneurship.

I did not expect to learn anything from this interview but I was incredibly surprised to learn as much about life, choices and consequences as I did. Incredible interview.

I would have to add Dave Chappelle in that.

learned a load of lessons from kevin's story and patrick did such a great interview digging on kevin's rich story. what really sticked out to me is what kevin said at the end when he said he loved the fact that it wasn't an interview but more of a conversation. thus bringing up great stories and great thoughts! thanks pat!

I don't sit and watch an hour and 20 min video but this was worth more than watching a movie in the theater Kevin is a deep guy very smart very articulate and straight forward and you Pat asked some really good questions very entertaining and loved the knowledge

2 years later and I sat through this whole interview. Was not expecting that. Very good interview. Good questions, fantastic answers. I learnt a lot

Patrick asks very relevant insightful questions that others never ask. Things about birth order etc. love Patrick. He’s so engaged in every conversation.

Patrick. As someone who has seen a lot of Kevin Hart interviews, this is the BEST Kevin Hart interview I've seen. You managed to really dig deep into the journey that Kevin went through, going from unknown comedian to super-star. AMAZING interview. Inspired the hell out of me!

Great interview, love the flow of conversation happening naturally. Also enjoyed watching Pat give Kevin some solid real advice at the end. Some of the questions were well thought out, different, the kind that make your guest want to ponder and share. It got deep and honest with some real eye opening moments. A real conversation where there was no awkwardness or uncomfortable moments. I really like Kevin Hart, and Pat is a great interviewer. Thanks and I look forward to watching more interviews.

Patrick, I know you've been told this a million times but you are one of the best interviewers I've every seen in my 68 years. Great subjects but you bring the best out of them. Thank you.

This interview is absolutely phenomenal.

This was such a humble, real and insightful interview with Kevin - thoroughly enjoyed it. I don’t think Pat gets enough credit for how brilliant he is as an interviewer, the level of preparation, he really invests in the people who he has on the show, asking the real/tough questions and the visuals are the team put together behind the scenes. Valuetainment is my favourite KZread channel - from business, politics, entertainment, science, finance, investigative topics etc. You guys have the most influential people on from all corners. There’s always value to be gained. There’s a lot of content creators out there - you guys are up there with the best 🙏 Thank you and looking forward to more gold!

I enjoyed this interview immensely! I can’t believe I had no idea 🤷‍♀️ about Kevin’s beginning. His mom’s plan worked and later Kevin’s drive, talent and insight to take advantage of every “opportunity”. Sooo proud of the Patrick Bet David! I can hardly wait to search KZread and listen to his other interviews. Awesome advice at the end as well. Truly enjoyed learning so much about Kevin Hart… he’s my favorite comedian!

Kevin has always told the stories of his life, but this was deep. I can't wait to read these books.

I Watch This A Lot And It Always So Dynamic And I Learn Not Only “How To Communication Skills From The Pros,” I Always Enjoy Kevin And Pats Jokes. Classic Podcast, Interview, And Conversation. Period. Just Gotta Say: Tough Luck Meets Hard Jawed Aspirations.

This just made me a a better fan of Kevin Hart hes a very open and genuine person much respect towards him and the all the work he does, and to Patrick as well such an amazing interview.

I thought this was one of his worst interviews. Laughed at Kevin telling him tax problems when he had a very serious tone. Then when kevin tried to be funny with the voices and jokes Patrick just doesnt even smile and rattles off the next "When were you a star? Were you a STAR? Were you on tv? You're not even on tv yet?"
