To think of what an iconic Seattle sports star, joining the likes of GP, Griffey, Largent on the Seattle mt Rushmore KD would’ve been had it not been for billionaire greed and backstabbing stealing the team away to a LESSER location. Durant is a generational talent that should have contributed to the pac nw sports legacy during his prime. And who’s to say that in Seattle he doesn’t win in the finals instead of falling short against Miami, or not go to a rival the year after losing to them.. who knows. He does however clearly seem to know that what happened to Seattle wasn’t right and that’s appreciated. The SuperSonics were my first childhood sports love and my heart was ripped out when they left
Focus on winning a championship with Suns. K.D loves shifting focus to every thing but the current team he is on. Never fails.

As a Sonics fan, watching Kevin Durant's career has been the basketball equivalent of having your kid taken away from you and being raised by someone else.
I lost interest in the NBA when it became me sport and not a team sport. If the sonics come back and it’s a team, playing as a team with defense, then maybe, but I’m not holding my breath…….
