In all fairness KD going to golden state was a weak move I mean let’s be honest, the media didn’t influence anyone’s perception on kd. Omg he mentioned MOOKIE BLAYLOCK!!! Mookie was my favorite player growing up in the 90s but no one EVER mentions his name. He was always one of the league leaders in steals. Some people probably have never even heard of him.

Mookie was decent PG, a true PG at that he didn't think to score first like current PGs, wasn't a great shooter but. Played great D, for example 11 consecutive seasons he avgd over 2 stls a game, Payton did that 8 times his whole career. Early 90s especially wasn't known for great PG scoring.

So do you not give him DPOY for what might happen in the playoffs since the award is already voted on by the time the playoffs begin.
