RicoSuaVe i definitely wouldn't say the best 😂 they went together but boston will always have the best green unis, and red white blue jerseys like the 76ers, clippers, wizards and pistons look way better than the sonics did, and purple/gold>green/gold so lakers over sonics too, lets not forget the bulls, heat and raptors and blazers with classic red/white/black, or the spurs with their simplicity and the blue/orange for the Knicks, the sonics jerseys are only hyped up now because theyre harder to find and retro jerseys are popping off, theres been WAY better esthetics for jerseys with actually good colors lmao

I was at this game, and it was just such an incredible night. I was a freshman in high school when the Sonics left, and to be able to go to game again, to be in the sea of green and gold... Basketball belongs in this city, and it never should have left. I look forward to the day I can watch our franchise come home.

I miss the Super Sonics, I remember KDs rookie season n Seattle. I wonder why KD did Not wear his own Sonic Jersey?

When Seattle comes back Durant is going back home. Durant is retiring a Sonic. But tbh I love the Sonics fan base and just the energy they gave Durant with every move with aws. It was fun to watch again.

Was there that night. To be back in that arena, to have so many Sonics fans brought together again, to see Durant on that court again, and to be able to send out the Key Arena in style... It honestly was a magical night. Hope we see basketball back in Seattle soon.

Been 12 years and losing the Sonic's still hurts. They're building a new arena though, completely tearing down the old one and building a totally new one except for what they're calling the "historic roof". Looks like it's gonna be super nice and we're getting an NHL team with it. I'm very happy about that. Fingers crossed hard that we'll get an NBA team as well in the near future. Go Sonic's!

Last NBA game I ever saw was the Lakers vs Sonics Kobe and Durant going Head to head that went into overtime and Kobe hitting the game-winning 3 to end it! EPIC!

I was there… it was awesome! I remember going to KeyArena with my mom back in the mid-2000s watching Ray Allen & Rashard Lewis on the Seattle Supersonics, even got to see a playoff game where they beat either the Grizzlies or the Kings. What could of been… Kevin Durant, Russell Westbrook & James Harden in Seattle would of been special for the great northwest.

Okc may hate Durant but he’s originally a sonic and he will forever be loved in Seattle u can let Westbrook be cherished by okc

Key Arena was the smallest in the NBA at the time. I can see why the SuperSonic ownership wanted a new one, even if it was new-ish. It was about only 12 years old before the Sonics moved to OKC. Nevertheless, Seattle NEEDS an NBA team! Also, maybe KD would've stayed if the organization was still in Seattle. Not much opportunity for growth in Oklahoma City.

I am not sure within the next 3 season by 2021. However I do agree if and when NBA expands in the near future, Seattle and Vegas would be the heavy favorites to get them.

Seattle and Vancouver got some raw deals from the NBA.

KD came back to seattle in 2013 for Jamal Crawfords pro am. tickets were only $5 (free for students)
