34 bunches of bananas is like 40 kilos (6-7 stone for non-metric folks), that's would've been quite heavy

The truth is it only had 33 bunches of bananas.

The number was a giveaway that it was a lie.

I knew it had to be a lie. I used to work at an airport, at the ticketing counter, and would encounter lost suitcases all the time, and it was actually part of our job to call the Port Police if they were unattended, and this was out of an atmosphere of fear. In fact, sometimes Port Police would test employees by intentionally leaving dummy suitcases just to see if we would call someone or ignore it. Anyway, when we did find an unattended suitcase, the police would just take it from us. We weren't expected to escort it back to the office with them, and they certainly wouldn't have opened it, even after verifying it wasn't a bomb.

its a lie.. what really happened was he rented out the suitcase for 25 minutes to 2 lads, 25 minutes each per person.. then when they tried to return it to him, he was gone.
