eatthisvr6 When this came out i thought it was just comedy exaggeration but NOPE pretty much spot on :D i mean he isn't like that all the time but when he switches into teen mode YEP perfect impression down to the arms and everything :D
My parents showed this sketch to me when I was 13 and I thought it was so cringey. Looking back, this is exactly what I put them through for five years 😂

i would of got my dads belt across my backside if i showed any sort of disrespect to him or my mum i was around 15 when i realized he aint all that bad as i thought he was i got caught smoking weed in school my mum was furious but the one who i thought would be really mad was my dad but he wasnt he came in one night sat next to me started giving me advice and telling me how drugs can wreck peoples lives he knows he aint going to stop me doing it he just didnt want me doing it behind his back and lying about it he would rather me smoke it at home than out in the streets because then he will know im save years later i found out he was a stoner himself.

Unforgettable.... The beauty of this clip was the fact that my younger brother was going through the tantrums as a 13 year old in 1993 and his name is and was..... Kevin 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂

Seeing this sketch again after many, many, many, many years made me just realize that my "flailing my arms around while I move" mannerisms came from this sketch. Thank you Harry Enfield for influencing me this way.
Hahaha I remember watching this with a few drinks with a mate when it was first broadcast '94 (when the BBC did a nice chunk of good comedy on a Friday night) and we were hysterical. Drunken laughter lasted for ages and we needed to watch it again later having missed loads of other sketches with laughing!

LOL, I love how this spoofs the idea that you change from one phase to the next at the stroke of midnight. I'd like to see a sequel to this concept (17 to 18th birthday) where Kevin's still acting like an annoying teen, then at midnight he suddenly starts acting like a 40 year old businessman, maybe falling asleep at the stroke of midnight.

Dena Mello We all tell ourselves that. You're going to change a lot more than you think you will (obviously not within the span of 20 seconds or whatever, but the point still stands). I'm 15, but when I was 12 I had an immensely different sense of humour, personality and mindset. I was in the exact same position as you are in right now, but trust me when I say that you will change more that you think you will. :P

The whole tape (VHS) of this is one of the funniest and most insightful pieces of comedy material ever created. Have never found a DVD of it; can't understand why it's (apparently) never been recorded on DVD.

Yep. Far funnier than anything on TV nowadays Jon. what do you think? I can't think of anything that comes close. I'd prefer to watch paint dry than most "modern" British comedy. The thought of anything involving Keith Lemon, James Cordon or anyone of that "ilk" makes me feel physically sick hah.
