*By functional I mean you can comfortably swing or carry it **bestgym.equipment** around as one would expect of a kettlebell weight. By versatile I mean the protective coating does not prevent attaching magnetic micro-plates to increase the weight, so, for example, a 35 pound kettlebell can be increased by up to 5 pounds in weight or possibly a bit more by attaching magnetic micro-plates.*

I just got my kettlebell yesterday, and I tried this for the first time today. I'm sad to say that I only made it through 3 rounds, but I'm proud that I did it!! Your workout is fantastic, thank you!

Wow Meagan, that is amazing strength! Is this class also suitable for men? I started this lesson but it was so difficult 😞I could only manage with one 2 lb dumbbell but my arms just completely gave up and could not even finish 1 round 😟I wish I can be so strong, muscular, and empowered like everyone here!

I usually don’t take the time to comment on videos, but felt the need to on this one. I am 33 and not going through menopause. I have been learning that I don’t need 30, 45 or even one hour workouts and that likely, shorter, more intense workouts with bits of longer breaks are actually more supportive of my hormones. With all that said, this workout was AMAZING. Scaling back from working out 6 days a week to 3, quick, 15-20 minute workouts a week has been hard, but this workout made me feel like I wasn’t missing out. Thank you so much. Also, if it means anything, I really enjoyed your personality. Looking forward to seeing more from you!

Thank you so much!! I used to also do at least an hour for my workout. Bringing down the time and bringing up the intensity not only makes me more focused but makes me work harder! I appreciate your comment!

Recap, for my interval timer app, this is 5 moves of 30 sec of work, 10 sec of rest, so each round is just over 3 min. I'd start with a light KB and shoot for 3 rounds as a goal, later building up in weight and rounds. At 60+ age, it seems like building up in weight has to be done slowly, or else there's hill to pay.
