Keto vs Paleo (After 5 Years of Paleo) - Reacting To Thomas DeLaur [REACTION]

Спорт

Reacting to Thomas Delaur speaking about paleo vs keto - which is better.
Honestly, I feel like this video is misleading.
Many people use buzz words and scientific terms to sound professional (guilty as well), but in this video Thomas went too far in my opinion as there are a lot of things that are simply wrong, like how eating fructose will magically make you fat, with no context or serious explanation.

I think it’s pretty safe to say that Keto would lead to weight loss because proteins and fats are so much more satiating than carbs. So for the same level of satiation, you intake less calories. Obviously this isn’t a physical limit, like you COULD just eat a shit tonne of oils and meats, but on a practical level I think the vast majority of people couldn’t keep that up. Fats keep you full for longer as well compared to carbs, which means that it feels natural to even space the meals out more especially if you attempt large meals of high fat.

With respect, I'd take any individual who promotes himself as a public figure by force of half-baked Bro-Science, with a grain of salt. At the end of the day Hypertrophy & fat loss are a result of both training and Micro-Macro index management. Yes, not all calories are processed in the same fashion but that said there is also a training element (or at least there should be) and understanding of the impact on the body which you're mentioned correctly and still on a minuscule level *stress*.
