Two young Kestrel chicks remain inside the nest box after their two siblings fledged on the previous day. Both parents continued to bring food to the nest, and it was a scramble to see who got fed first. While it may seem like they are fighting over food, this fierce display of instincts shows that they are ready for the outside world and its challenges. As Kestrel eggs hatch in two-day intervals, these likely were the last two to hatch, hence their extra day spent here.
