THE biggest dj in the whole world

I met him soon after this, I remember watching this and being soooo damn excited for the ep. after he performed, I stood outside the venue in the rain for a while and waited for him to come out and got him to sign my shirt and gypsyhook cd and got a really low megapixel cellphone camera pic with him lmao. he is absolutely charmingly sweet and awkward. he went out of his way to personally interact with each of us standing out front for him. highlight of my teenage years, for sure. I'm so proud of him for coming so far and gaining such success doing what he really wants to.

i saw him play live when he was on from first to last in 04. never would i have thought that this guy would have turned out to be one of the top 10 most influential musicians to have ever existed, and when i say "top 10", im not exagerating. im putting him up there with Elvis, Frank Sinatra, paul mccartney, Madanah, etc...Everything he's done has been "ahead of his time", and he set the pace in Screamo music, along with EDM. seriously, he was involved in setting the pace for BOTH those genres. When FFTL came around in 03/04, there was no other band out there like them. same with his skrillex scene (except for maybe Deadmau5)

@@natschaefer1044 fftl was post hardcore but they were actually a screamo band as well. A lot of people think of screamo as deep growls or just flat out screaming, but you see it clearly in the song note to self. It’s a style of singing that’s not necessarily screaming, but it’s more “shouting” instead. They had a really unorthodox tone to their vocals, similar to chiodos. They weren’t just “post hardcore”.

Sonny has been my role model for five years :) He's a really nice person.

This is, in my opinion, one of the most talented musicians in the history of mankind. Dispite his young age he has achieved so much. I mean, From First to Last. Awesome band, awesome songs. But Skrillex, his newer project, it totally blows away the whole dubstep/electro scene! There are not a single person (which I know of) that rules two completely different genres.
