Kerli back then seems soooo incredibly different. She's so talented and she should have gotten so much more credit.

What gets me is that Kerli is too nice. In another interview she admits she didn't even know Demi had recorded the song until it was on the billboards in the Usa and it had already been on the bill boards top 5 for months in the Uk (fully sung and written by Kerli obviously). Kerli has been famous so I don't know why this interviewer is downgrading her so much.

U should interview her on questions about her music not the music she writes for people. Kelli is an amazing artists who deserves more recognition

Skyscraper is one of those songs that really gets you and knowing how vulnerable how that song is

Finally watching this interview after listening to Kerli's version for years. She's so humble saying "I have no business singing this" and I think it's sweet because I prefer her version.

I had no idea Kerli wrote Skyscraper. I'm in love with the song... this has seriously given me new light. Kerli is an amazing singer and I wish she got more credit for it. I'm glad I found this video!

I love how humble Kerli is. She wrote the song and made it clear and she didnt care that thet were talking about other artist instead she was like saying it was an amazing song recorded by someone else. Shes so talented. In my opinion the only thing she needs is a bigger publicity campaing for herself as an artist so people can get to know her better.

IMHO, Kerli's version of Skyscraper is about ten times better. Tastes may vary.

It got so popular because of what Demi went through right before releasing the song. The lyrics really speak to it. Her depression, being bullied, anorexic, yet she came out stronger than before. And I think a lot of people applauded that she was able to do that and come out a role model for other young people going through the same thing. Demi is also a lot more popular, which equals more people listening to it

i feel sorry for female artists, yes she looks great with nice style but with female artists thats always the first thing anyone wants to talk about! music should be first and then visual style second!

I love how supportive she is. Like, she wrote Skyscraper for her album. And then it’s sold to another artist and goes on to become a signature song for that artist. It must not have been easy to part with it, yet you never hear Kerli not praise Demi and she’s genuinely happy for how things turned out.

I never really like Demi and than I heard Skyscraper and it sounded so deep and grown up. But I did know Kerli,and LOVE LOVE her music and her as an artist,she is inspirational. So I realize now why I liked it so much.
