this is why I love Demi Lovato so much. she's stronger than ever. I have been bullied, I have family issues going on, & I know that I can stay strong through them because of Demi. she's my inspiration

if you replace “eating” with drugs, like it actually was, this interview hits totally different

The scars are from her cutting herself back then. I use to do that when I was younger and it was a very stupid thing to do. I have scars from that and it is embarrassing when people look at them and ask why. I was at a low point in my life when I was a teenager and cutting seemed like the only thing that could take my pain away.

i literally got help for my depression and a whole bunch of other things because i saw how courageous demi was, she made me see that what i was going through could happen to anyone. I have been through so much in the past year, and just seeing someone talk about this on the radio, or even just at all is, just beyond words. Seeing demi now, and knowing that she went through so much to get where she is now, gives me so much hope.

uhhh...okay. this is just...fucking incredible. she is amazing. i love how she went through all of what she went through, recovered, and now tries to help people with these problems and herself too. most important, she can talk about it, and not live in hiding like most artists do. this made me love demi lovato so much more now. so inspirational.
