Hey Jill, my husband has a degree in chemistry and he usually isn't at home when I do my keratin so I'm completely shocked by what he told me. He came into the house right after I had flat ironed the first section of my hair. He made me rinse it out because I showed me that some of the ingredients cause lung cancer and other nasty diseases. Big bummer. I washed it out then applied a leave in conditioner and guess what, my hair came out nice and shiny, easy to comb and wavy. I can live with this not lung cancer.

I’m actually surprised you didn’t go over the ingredients with him before you decided to purchase and use this product. Which keratin were you using before? Definitely recommend doing your research on anything before trying it out on your own. What works for me might not be what’s best or will work for you. Thank you for your comment.

Which of these at home Kretain treatments would you recommend for shorter hair?

At a $25 price point, it looks good! I've always wondered how this compares to keratin research. I will prob stick with KR just because I know it works on my hair but this will be good for emergencies!

The others also are harmful. They are okay until you add heat and then you have toxic fumes. Goggle propylene glycol and some of the other compounds 0:01

It does have a strong smell. Open your windows when blow drying and flatiron your hair.

This video gave me so much anxiety the way you were straightening the same pieces so often 😂 but I’m not hating 🥰 lol I will say tho if you chased better when straightening you wouldn’t have to go over it so many times. That tool you used looks really good tho

I am indignant. Since I saw I bought the bottle, I became suspicious because it didn't come with the ingredients. There are already signs of the scam. Then it claims to remove curls by 50% and says that it would help minimize frizz, which is a complete lie. What it causes is loss of money, time and brings with it mistreatment of the hair due to unnecessary drying and ironing. They should take that product out of circulation and indemnify all of us who have bought that product for the huge scam they have done with consumers.
