​@@rubyteha3936 When Kep1er first debuted, those who never watched GP999 weren't aware how good Hikaru was (bc in Wa Da Da she was pretty much relegated to the back and had one line). But thankfully since Queendom 2, some of her fancams went pretty viral and new fans could see how amazing her dance actually is......even if Wakeone won't really showcase her talent.

I agree, in general Kep1er has a good dance line, where Xiaoting, Dayeon and Youngeun mainly stand out, but Ezaki Hikaru is a genius on stage. The precision of her to attack each beat, her fluidity, the control of her body and the details of her expressions, even her gaze.

The Ezaki Hikaru is technique not based in fluidity but is a sharp technique.

I'm always moved with Hikaru's dance including facial control. I have been watching same performance again and again. I like Hikaru and Daeyon's dance.

It's kinda confusing, I've been seeing several rankings with Hikaru as #1, Dayeon as #1 or even Xiaoting? Honestly I don't know which is better, but Yeongeun's dancing really attracted my attention in Weekly Idol, while Hikaru is a queen on stage, her stage presence and charisma is 3rd Gen material, honestly 4th gen has many good dancers but not all of them have a stage presence you would find in Hikaru, Hwasa, Lisa, like the way their facial expressions scream ''I'm confident and I'm enjoying this''

It all goes down to preference. Don't be confused, these rankings by dancers is never a basis of choosing who's the best dancer and who is not. Whoever piques your taste, then that's your best dancer.

I 100% agree with you. I think youngeun needs more opportunities to show off her dancing bc I see a lot of people ranking her 4th. Not that dayeon and xiaoting aren't good dancers but in my opinion I think youngeun is slightly better. It would have been cool if she did both the vocal and dance unit performances on queendom.

Having absolutely no knowledge whatsoever about dancing I particularly like that this group, although dance levels differ, is cohesive and seems one. For me there is no obvious weak link, which makes their choreo and stages so nice and satisfying to look at. Also saw a video where A.I. measures Kep1ers synchronization and it was like 93% (85% is average for 4th gen groups apparently with this method), which is of course insane for a rookie group. I always enjoy watching these rankings with explanation from someone that is knowledgeable, as I can always learn new things to focus on 👍🏻.

Yujin is CLC’s 2nd best dancer, considered as main dancer alongside Seungyeon. And the fact she only ranked 6th here, you really can tell that KEP1ER has a top tier dance line alongside ITZY and NMIXX. Also, Xiaoting reminds me of (G)-IDLE’s Soojin, both of their strengths lie in elegant, sexy type of dancing, if you know what I mean.

:00 i agree with everything i love hikaru and how she dqnces and i think that the way you tied yeseo and xiaoting was very reasonable as some people rate yeseo a lot lower

Um. Idk if it's just me but I feel like Yeseo's timing in general has been extremely inconsistent, and if she improved that she'd immediately jump up the standings. Just look at their WA DA DA dance practice and you'll see what I mean.

As of August 2022 when they've already released "up!" The general ranking would be different. Although Kep1er has an INSANE dance line this is my ranking: 1) Xioting 2) Hikaru 3) Dayeon 4) Younguen 5) Yeseo 6 Yujin 7) Mashiro 8) Bahiyyih 9) Chaeyun You can most definitely disagree

Basically every members have their own genre, Xiaoting with Classic/or Dancesport (Many more actually including Ballet, Ballroom dance, ETC. She mastered a lot of dance's genres but yes compared to her fellow members Idol dance is not her speciality), Dayeon with Freestyle/Street dance, Youngeun with HipHop, Yeseo with choreographed/Idol dance, and Hikaru slaying all assignments given to her, she's literally so versatile. While my ult K-Pop (Not solely on Kep1er but my ult ULT bias) is Xiaoting, Hikaru's dance always catches my eyes after Xiaoting. Now I want their agency to make them participate in ISAC so Ting can show off her speciality and win all medals!

And since Xiaoting is the tallest on Kep1er and Kep1er's average height is on the shorter side compared to other groups, we don't get to see her shining in dancing aspect as much as the other members since she has to adjust her movementsto other members, I really want Kep1er to join ISAC and show off her genre, because people been discredited her dance in Kep1er and saying she's just a visual which break my heart :( they haven't seen THAT dance of her from Chuang, I just know when they saw it their jaw will dropped!

Youngeun for me is number 1 and then hikaru but that is from a hip hop B boy perspective. I love both of their fluidity and power. They both have great control and their facial expressions are on point. They are definitely naturally gifted and talented dancers. But the whole group are very talented dancers.

As a dancer as well, I think mashiro is slightly better than Bahi ; she has not fluidity and control over her body , even if sometimes the angles of the latter are better , it seems she has lesser techniques in dancing (which is understandable because Mashiro is an ex- JYPE trainee)

Yeseo is much better than Xiaoting. It’s not even a tie. Xiaoting does not have good coordination. Her coordination is awkward. Isolation? Her isolation is bad tbh. Look at her la voyage shoulder roll for example. Both her shoulder and chest are rolling. She can’t lock her moves as well. She just dances, whereas yeseo knows how to milk every move to the music, although she can be a lil fast on the beat but she has no down time on stage. Xiaoting has that charisma on stage. I would say her charisma > dance skill.

for me Yujin dancing skills deserve to be top 3 or at least she can be in the 4th place after the original center (Dayeon, Xiaoting. Hikaru) cuz Yujin has better in detail and her body control is the best among them, u guys can check it when she dance, she really has best hip movements

My Opinion 1. Dayeon 2. Hikaru 3. XiaoTing 4. Yeseo 5. Youngeun 6. Yujin 7. Bahi 8. Mashiro 9. Chaehyun I agreed with you in the tie between Yeseo and Xiao Ting I think the exact same thing, I just put Xiao Ting in front because I like her dance better

Well I don’t know much about dance tbh but personally I’d probably tie Mashiro and Bahiyyih cuz Mashiro’s movements are sharper and she seem to have much better body control even tho her dance tend to look a bit stiff she still have a good flow in her dance Bahiyyih on the other hand is kinda the opposite she doesn’t really look stiff but like you said she lacks body control and her movements can be kinda floppy sometimes which can lead to her dance looking a bit awkward at times But like I said I know next nothing about dance so don’t really take my opinion seriously

Yujin is great dancer in ooo song, hylt. She is too underrated in kep1er. Rank 6 is rather insulting for me. Hikaru dance in no excuse was not so memorable, but she was flawless in the eve performance.

Yujin isn't underrated in kep1er in any terms tho..... She's top 3 famous.... I meant even she being put as 6 doesn't means she's worst

yujin dance in clc was on the next level, maybe her rank dropped because she getting older. to compare with yujin was in clc, her rank could be in top 3

I feel like Mashiro is a better dancer than Bahiyyih, her JYP training with ITZY is showing, and also I would say Chaehyun and Bahiyyih are on par, maybe Chaehyun slightly better

IMO, Hikaru is slightly better than both . Idk why tho . But Lisa is superior in body control

Lisa has too much tension in her hands/wrists and she has a stiff torso. Many people have commented on that. Hikaru has better fluidity in both

I think you don't know this but- Chaeyeon is known as best dancer for 4 gen girl group and Lisa is one of best dancer so if you wanna compare them its just too far ..

Agreed, but i don't think youngeun is that good in idol dancing, she kinda lacks energy control and looks a bit stiff on stage, but other than that, she is an amazing dancer, my top for idol dancing would be: 1. Hikaru 2. Dayeon 3. Yeseo 4. Xiaoting 5. Youngeun

Right now she's not "all out" like in planet girls anymore.... She need to save energy for her part.... She's holding one of hardest part especially in pre-chorus with chaehyun but she used to be backup dancer idol so maybe the energy..... But still I respect your opinion!!!!

Xiaoting and yeseo is better than Youngeun

I do not know why this sort of comparison video clips appear constantly once I watched this sort of video before, but one thing you would think of is that dayeon was ranked 1st among 99 participants when they had pre-testing. This result was based on evaluation of masters. Hikaru's professional attitudes like hard training and practice are admirable. But she is still at a level of learning how to follow the movement, though dayeon is at a level of creators like professional dancers. Creating dancing moves like dancers and learning provided dance moves are at different levels. For me, dayeon would be No.1 +do you really believe that hikaru would be no 1 based on masters' decision for top 9 at the first time? Then Cai bing would be within top 9 based on masters' decision as well? Then, dayeon and yeyoung would not be within top 9 based on masters' decision as well? Not at all. No one thinks that Cai bing's capability would be top 9 if that person is not insane. It was a rank based on exclusion of K1 Dayeon and K2 Yeyoung. It was to promote popularity of the show internationally. If people honestly evaluated, then most of top 9 would be K trainees. It would not attract Japanese and Chinese viewers. To earn money, the director needed to decorate international contestants. That's the reason why Cai bing or SRQ were highly evaluated though their movements were poor. That's the reason why C trainees were decorated in the first couple of eps. People call it a commercial rank. Dayeon was excluded intentionally to have some dramatic effect in the audition program since everyone including masters got convinced that she would make debut anyway based on her overwhelming ability. I can understand that you want to support hikaru, but you need to see things behind. You don't have to devaluate dayeon to praise hikaru. hikaru is skilled, but not at a level of creating a stage. Stage presence is just a vacant concept without any reality. Ppl just use it to decorate their pick though there are a few artists who have it in the entire industry. It is just a fake concept lol.

And Hikaru was ranked no.1 among the 99 trainees personally by the masters after their first performance because she is the best. She is not just hardworking but also extremely talented in dancing by a long gap vs Dayeon. She has better stage presence as well.

@@hollandholland9250 no, unlike you I’m basing off Hikaru’s dancing skills vs Dayeon’s dancing skills at a technical level you probably won’t understand unless you look closely. FYI I don’t even give a shit about the rankings LMFAO. Hikaru is one of the best dancers (if not the best in GP999) because unlike Dayeon, she never had sloppy movements, unclean arms, wobbly feet and she has perfect body lines, and angles plus has greater body isolations vs Dayeon. Her facials and stage presence is just a major bonus! Can you even pull up a bad move from Hikaru and assessed her closely? Did you even look at OOO fancams closely and saw how Dayeon almost got off-balance while spinning? Probably not. Did you see how Hikaru OUTDANCED Dayeon in Snake and how she fits molds herself in various concepts better, even if she’s younger? Probably not! And here you are talking to me about discrediting Dayeon’s skills when you are discrediting the judges’ decisions on ranking Hikaru first when in fact HIKARU PERFORMED MUCH BETTER THAN DAYEON EVERY SINGLE TIME. Like b*tch please. 🤪 She would eat her alive anytime.

@@hollandholland9250 and not to mention most actual, legitimate professional dancers has always rated Hikaru being the best dancer in Kep1er on a technical level (how they execute moves) not based on how someone can create choreography better, or someone promotes herself as main dancer. TOTALLY UNRELATED! Hikaru is the best dancer in Kep1er PERIOD.

@@nickelsilver5250 I mentioned known facts. I did not devaluate hikaru like you since I have no bias in kep1er. Believe it as you want. I don't care. Perfect body line? lol She is the shortest or the second shortest. She is not Momo. If you say that momo has a good body line, then I agree. But hikaru? Do you think that youtubers are legitimate? Are they celebrated as Back koo young or AURA at least, the dance crew that worked with top artists? If you want to believe youtubers' review as they want to believe since hikaru seems to be one of few artists who can raise self-esteem of Japanese to you, then you can believe as you want. She is just a new artist who has gotten training for 2 months. If a performer makes an impression via frowning facial expression like yoo dayeon or SRQ or hikaru in the eve performance, it does not necessarily mean that she performs well lol. Kep1er period lol. I like kep1er but no one other than few think that this is kep1er period... Stage presence matters to top artists like bp or bts. It matters since it is one of many factors whether pseudo top artists can go above and become like bp or not. For most artists, stage presence does not apply since they are not at a level of bp.
