I think what Xiaoting meant by Kep1er’s Troubeshooter Era being a disappointing comeback, it was because the Kep1er members were overworked, the comeback promotions were very short on music shows & Kep1er didn’t promote any of their B-sides on music shows or on their KZread Channel. Kep1er only promoted their B-side, Dreams for their 1st Korean Fansign.

Wakeone has no excuse. They were given some of the best multinational talent in an already saturated industry and this is what they did with it. You can lead a horse to water, crystal clear, cool pure spring water from an untouched part of the earth, but if that Wakeone doesn't want to drink, it will do absolutely nothing of substance for Kep1er. They deserve better. I hope that they can all sign with another company and actually release work that is fitting of their talent and abilities as a group.

WakeOne completely dropped the ball with these girls, as well as Jo Yuri. Both acts could have been huge, but the company sucks at properly managing them.

@@dallunatic her popularity hasn’t grown since her time as a soloist,, in fact it declined. most of her popularity came from her being an iz*one member. she totally could’ve been a chungha or a sejeong,, ie a produce idol who became a soloist.

For the "she could've been the chungha or sejeong", yuri sold more albums than both chungha and sejeong, she in fact triples sejeong's sales and at least doubles chungha's (for now, at least). I understand that we international fans might not be seeing her as often as we want but south korea absolutely loves her. while i think wakeone could be doing better for her management, she isn't forgotten to the south korean public.

just a casual fan of kep1er that had this pop up in my yt recs and yeahhhh all the wakeone critiques are completely warranted. sad that the girls know it too, but i'm happy they can find a little humor in it

i was so invested in them after GP999. they did their best to be in top 9 and now they're barely even talked about when discussing 4th gen GGs. i feel so so bad for them. hopefully after their contract expires they get good deals in better companies.

Actually, I've seen more idols drinking while broadcasting from Korea than from abroad. You should learn how to pay attention and to not repeat misinformation.

They wouldn’t be able to sue, because WakeOne hasn’t done anything illegal. Not managing a group well is ofcourse shitty, but its nothing they can sue over. They’re not at all comparable to Loona VS BBC in this regard, because Loona was not being paid at all, (they were actually losing money), which is something that you can sue over, as it can be/is a crime.

If you want better insight, I recommend the KZreadr named Felt, as she did a very long video talking about everything that happened and went wrong with LOONA, and the amount of mismanagement financially and all the mistreatment was WAY worse compared to Kep1er. Plus, most members of Kep1er have an agency from which they receive their paycheck through, as Wake One gives them their salaries through those companies. So if the companies weren’t receiving the girls’ salaries, then a lawsuit would have already been accusing at this point in time. Kep1er is just unfortunate that their marketing and production team suck, but that doesn’t mean they were as badly as LOONA

They don´t do anything impactful because lots of people rather spend their times criticizing WakeOne or doing bias wars instead of actually buying their albums physically or digitally. I've seen them performing live, and they are performing monsters and among the best of the 4th gen girl groups.

🤔and I just recently discovered that they really don't have meanings for him, her, boys and girls, instead it's meaning is in the context of a conversation with their Unnies, Oopas etc..., so their language is based on "Social Graces", just thought I'd throw that out there' 😉

I'll try my best to explain everything to you since i don't think you're a kep1ian or maybe not one on Twitter where everything is explained/ happens. First of all, this was just a silly video and I know that most of that "shade" is obviously light hearted because the girls are under a contract and won't explicitly curse at their company. Now we don't crap at them only because they work their idols hard, but we're gonna start with that. Of course, every companies overwork their idols. But I don't know if every companies make their idols prepare for a korean comeback, a japanese comeback and a special release all of this while being on a survival show who requires preparing for new special performances every week for a span of, at most, a month. The girls got injured so much during these 2 years, they told us about collapsing during rehearsals, about alternatively having mental break downs during practice, about being rushed to the hospital and many more but it'd be way too long to explain. It's not because every idols are overworked that it makes overworking okay, we still have every right to be mad at a company treating their idols like shit. Since we talked about injuries, there were allegations of staffs verbally and physically abusing some members(during schedules in front of fans). The girls bodies (Hiyyih and Shiro) were covered in very disturbing bruises and the company never adressed any of that. (Zb1 also got abused verbally and this was caught on camera so i do think the allegations about Kep1er were true) Now to the mismanagement. Wakeone never intended to make Kep1er famous or to put effort into them, it was just an excuse to redeem themselves because of the produce scandal and of course to gather enough money for a future group. They had no plan for Kep1er at all. We could see it back then with how they launched gp999 during covid and didn't do anything to promote the show + gave us a long drought of content = did nothing to maintain post gp999 hype. The debut was pretty cheap (Mv, concept pics, outfits, stage design, etc) and no effort was put into their youtube channel, original contents were barely edited and was just them in front of a white wall. Also they had no clear musical direction or concept during their first year of debut. Which are very important to maintain a group's fame. Now to the "reedeming themselves" part. Kep1er were called "Mnet daughters" so what's a better way than sending them, as few months old rookies, on a survival show in order to evil edit them + sabotage them so that they get rid of the Mnet daughter's etiquette. They used their tears and harships on thumbnails or teasers, they gave them the bare minimum for their stages, limited the numbers of kep1ians who could attend q2 so that they'd get less votes and many more. They successfully redeemed themselves since boys planet was a success in Korea, and ofc they put wayy more effort into it. There's so much more to add on the mismanagement part such as the rushed comebacks or the no promotion for Troubleshooter cb and Magic hour cb because they were purposely scheduled on national holidays (or close to them) in order for w1 to save money, but i think i'll stop here because this is already way too long. Last but not least, the hate. Wakeone exposed Kep1er to an enormous amount of hate and never did anything to take actions against it. They faced a huge hate train towards their entire career that impacted their mental health a lot. During predebut, Hiyyih faced an inhuman amount of hate and had a petition with a lot of signs to get removed from the group. Dayeon was also hated a lot for making it into the group, got called names and got also harassed because of a fake dating scandal during their early career (people would pay for fancalls to mock her on the call), yeseo had a sasaeng, the girls got shooting threats when they'd came to la by a suspicious user and kep1ians had to contact the FBI because of how serious it was and how wakeone didn't give a fuck. They got hated to death because of troubleshooter, many fake rumors and more. And Wakeone NEVER did anything to protect them, they never took legal actions, no statements, nothing. Meanwhile when a zb1 member got into a scandal for cursing during a fancall, an hour after the incident, Wakeone stated they'd take legal actions and protect them from malicious comments, which I say again, Kep1er NEVER GOT throughout the inhuman hate train they faced as a group and individuals. This is of course a quarter of what that company has done to Kep1er and their career but it'd be too long if I explained everything. They don't care about them and treated them like crap, so Kep1ians have every right to hate on this company.

Dont know about the video but it has to be SERIOUS, we know that dancing, singing is their job.. All the idols work hard but end of the day the idols get promotion, rest, money etc.. But about kep1er, wakeone is just wasting the girls talent, the company is literally do not care about kep1er. Kep1er getting death threats since debut but wakeone does not care about it (but when its come abt Zb1 they literally writing article everywhere), The girls are sick, they telling this on social media but still wakeone doesnt give a little break, they are performing in the stage while being sick. WakeOne using 1 outfits for 4-5 week shows, members cycling there outfits with each other, Having 5-6 comebacks just in one year without any break, even kep1er's debut mv filmed in a landfill, Kep1er last comeback had a really short period of promotion due to chuseok, Kep1er album poster, mv everything is in really cheap quality, The company also even doesnt promote their b-sides, Kep1er members cant even have a good birthday celebration (just watch kep1er birthday lives & then Zb1 birthday lives) & now if you think Zb1 make more money then kep1er then listen kep1er is still Wakeone MONEYMAKER.
