I'm confident that anyone stumbling upon this channel will have a rewarding experience, given its comprehensive inclusion of all elements essential for a travel vlog. I extend my gratitude to both of you for openly expressing your genuine viewpoints in all your videos since the channel's inception, a tradition that continues with the recent "Kenya vs South Africa" video. One of the key factors that led me to subscribe to this channel is your unwavering honesty, which avoids embellishment and caters not to viewers' expectations. As a proud South African, I'm thrilled to witness our country being acknowledged for its beauty and well-developed infrastructure. It's wonderful to compare with Kenya, a nation with its unique strengths and attributes. Both South Africa and Kenya have much to offer, making it a joy to celebrate each nation's positive aspects. Let's persist in appreciating and learning from each other's accomplishments, contributing to the growth and prosperity of our continent. 🇿🇦🇰🇪 I eagerly await your upcoming return tour to South Africa, where you'll have the chance to explore more of the country's beauty. Shalom! 🙏🏽💜💕💖

Africa as a continent would be much further ahead if we had more people like you 👏🏿🤛🏿🤝 who don't fall for these repetitive click bait, divide & rule tactics. I'm Kenyan and seriously, you and I have some very trifling and egotistical country men. These kind of videos bring out the worst among us. This comments section is a garbage pile where our fellow South Africans and Kenyans are trying to get one up over each other while hiding behind 'constructive criticism'. Whichever country this couple decides to settle in, both Kenya and South Africa still have a ton of similar issues to deal with and instead of collectively coming up with ideas on how to solve them, our people are here throwing mud at each other. And then we wonder why we as a continent continue to remain behind 🙄😪 Anyway, it's nice to know there are level-headed folks like you out there 🖤

I read that SA needs R500 billion to repair the dilapidated roads but the ANC doesn’t have the money! I’ve not even touched on their power grid also coz that’s a different issue altogether 😅 SA is crumbling while Kenya is progressing very well 👍 Kenyans should stop thinking that SA is still setting the bar for other countries to follow! Honestly as a south african who loves her country i could fully respect u guys choosing Kenya. They sound so similar and with the lower crime rate and the fact thst kenya is catching up and SA is having problems escalate - it is a very tough call. Those beaches in Kenya look amazing! I think if I'm ever forced to move i know where I'd wanna go 😉. Thanks again for great, honest content! ❤ Also it might be a good idea to visit both in summer again if they're your top choices overall. I'm pretty sure Kenya is much hotter, since its closer to the equator. Also for the allergies, check your bread. Bread is supposed to go stale after a day or so. I've noticed a lot of people have bad reactions to the long life bread because of whatever they use to increase shelf life. Also cape town has amazing artisanal food places which will have higher quality fresh food-based meals on the menu which might also help. 😊

@@roblucci2366 I disagree. Kenya for instance had machakos as the place chosen by colonizers as it's capital. Little was done there and till date it remains just but a mere town. Nairobi on the other hand was made a capital city after independence and had it's first iconic building,KICC, built by the first president mzee Jomo Kenyatta in 1974. Also little to nothing was taking place in other east African countries because they didn't see much value here since there were no minerals. This place was seen as a useless bush full of wild animals and held no significance to them. Ethiopia on other hand successfully resisted colonization and they are really doing well for themselves in terms of infrastructure. In those days Uganda was actually chosen as destination for colonizers ,and reason behind Kenya-uganda railway because it was landlocked. Looking at Uganda today we can all testify nothing of much was done there

Stopped binge watching you guys because of life commitments, but I won't ever stay away from your content, as you both are amazingly precious and a blessing in the way you present your experiences. If you do come settle down in South Africa, I'd say come to Cape Town and experience the Northern Suburbs, where I live. I've been to Dallas, Tx way back in 1999 and some of the suburbs there were like our Northern Suburbs over here. I also have some great friends in Kenya and they are awesome folk and such an amazing country. God bless you guys and your daughter. You are valuable.

A very fair analysis 👌 Both Kenya and SA complement one another effortlessly. One can be working in Kenya and vacationing in SA or vice versa without losing touch with their comforts, familiarities etc yet get to experience a whole new world from different perspectives. On electricity issue with Kenya, gone are the days of load shedding and infact Kenya currently generates more power than the connected market can absorb. The occasional outage is purely on maintenance schedule or accidental infrastructure hitch. The KPLC issues notices and updates on upcoming disruptions both in print and social media. Primarily this is to alert customers and especially to cushion itself from possible legal suits. Yes, in Kenya, power disruption without notice that cases losses of any kind is seriously enough to sue for compensation.

You should add another index when comparing, the projection or trajectory of the country future. SA is an African giant that has riched its pick and it about to embark on economical transfer from colonial masters to native. During that transformation, it will go down before it comes back with the owners in the drive city. For now the future of the continent is in East Africa. Pinned this comment in mind for future reference.

that's not really a valid analysis and i would have to disagree with you,you saying "SA is an African giant and has reached its peak" is not really accurate youd have to include Nigeria and Egypt as well and the same would have to apply since they are in the same caliber in terms of economic output, yet all these 3 countries are still growing altho SA is growing very very very slow due to its internal problems so long story short NO. SA might be ahead of its African peers but its hasn't reached its peak.

There are more African migrants in SA than African migrants found anywhere on the continent and they all here because they can live and survive.
