" I brought my now 40 yr old daughter to the , then Rosemont Horizon " now the United Center , Chicago. Kenny wearing the "White suit" , in the round. Kenny stopped in front of me by the stage edge , smiling as I lifted my little girl up to hand him a dozen Red Rose's. " my daughter's name is" Rayna Rose". Since it was before MTV, the best way to listen to it, and get the best benefit of the story, is to find a video with the lyrics. I'd be REALLY surprised if you weren't crying like a baby at the end of it. Great reaction to this one. So good to know that a younger generation is finding the great music of the past.

I adore reactions like this! The first one I saw you do was Lady by Kenny Rogers, just seeing someone genuinely enjoy classic music like this makes me smile! It's refreshing to see a younger generation (I was born in '81, you definitely look younger than me) be so open-minded to music from older generations and different genres. I grew up hearing these songs and good music like this really does transcend age, race, or any other classification. If you enjoy the soul and rasp in Kenny's voice you should check out Conway Twitty if you haven't already! Start with "It's Only Make Believe" then work your way through the rest of his catalogue...you won't be disappointed! Keep up the great work, you've definitely earned another subscriber! #goodmusicistimeless

My dad wrote a song for his late fiancé called If I Hung The Moon, She Must’ve Hung The Stars. This reminds me of that song. She died of a heart attack in her sleep just after they got engaged, and my dad had finally found a good place and was happy. Tore us all apart

Kenny Rogers is one of the all-time great country singers ever and he's still just as good looking today as he was back then. You need to watch his movie called the six pack I truly love that movie and I don't know why they don't show it nowadays.

Kenny Rogers was part of the group The First Edition from 1968 to 1976, in 1976 he launched his solo career. He gave his farewell tour in 2015. The man's voice is a national treasure. Try listening to "Lucille" "The Gambler" "The Coward of the County" ... you're going to love it! :)

This was one of my brother's favorite songs and was played at his funeral 8 years ago. For the last 8 years, each time I hear it, I get a little tear well up missing him. Thanks for sharing!

I grew up with Kenny Rogers in the 70s, my dad had this on 8track, always loved his music, then I became a metal head in the 80s lol, it’s great seeing the younger generation liking this 👍🏻
