I am 52, and i pay close attention to these classics lyrics. This is a world of FOOLS we live in , breaking US DOWN and it all shall be?? KILL IT WITH LOVE!!

    I was 14. Here's another one. Do either of you remember that the they released a PG version of the film in theaters also soon after? The soundtrack was so hot and lots of underage kids couldn't go when it was in it's original R rating. I think I remember both versions out at the same time.

    Jayvee my wife and I had the great opportunity to see the Bee Gees in 1971 when I was in the Navy and stationed in Norfolk, Virginia. To see and hear them in a live concert with a 32 piece orchestra was at the very least amazing!!! Thank you for bringing their music to another generation of real music lovers.     The Bee Gees were ridiculously talented and one of the many great things about their music is that the message still applies to this day. Can we please put Barry in a house of bubble wrap? He is the last remaining Bee Gee and I , for one, really really don't want to lose him. Thank you for this one, you have so much more of their music to enjoy!

    Not only did they have such great voices, they also wrote great music too. They wrote for, Celine Dionne, Diana Ross, and Dionne Warwick to name but a few. But they're songs have been covered by the likes of The Shadows, Boyzone, Steps, and Take That.

    When I was over seas in the Navy I hear the song for the very first time I COULDN'T believe how great these brothers harmonize together back in the seventies I thought they were the best harmony I ever heard they are the best I didn't care they were from England I met my girlfriend for the very first time with this How deep is your love and that when I fell in love with her I will never forget this song, and her eyes and how beautiful she was to this day.

    They’ve been performing,on television,since 1958.Even as little kids,their harmonies were pitch perfect.And they were,are wonderful human beings.Kind,funny,and thoughtful.

    The voices of angels... noone holds a candle to the Bee Gees. They had a younger brother Andy and he sang too! You should hear him too, he sounds like them and looked like Barry's twin.

    At age 16, songs like this kept me from completely losing my mind. Music was my sanctuary and peace.. and I feel blessed I had such incredibly talented artists to count on to take me away... The Bee Gees.. just harmonies and more harmonies.. Its so great to see younger people like you appreciate what we knew... the music was, and still is.. amazing!

    This was a huge hit. #1 on the Hot 100 and stayed in the Top 10 for a then record 17 weeks. One of the greatest love songs ever. I love that The Bee Gees are getting the respect they truly deserve, which wasn't always the case. You gotta do the funky "Jive Talkin" and of course "Stayin Alive" and "Night Fever".

    Yep, it was a really big hit. While Barry has a great voice, my favorite is Robin. Gorgeous voice.

    Robin's voice was definitely the most unique of the three. Barry's was the most commercial and Maurice was just flat funny. Look up an old clip from the Johnny Carson show in the seventies Maurice is sitting there checking his watch, yawning and then every once in awhile he'd get to lean forward and sing his part and then sit back in his chair.

    The Bee Gees are my favorite group from the 70s! It is so rare to see younger people around my age that appreciate music from back then. You definitely don't hear music like this anymore. Definitely keep listening to them and you will never get tired of hearing those harmonies!

    They're brothers, so they have similar vocal cords. As in all bands with brothers (Osmonds, Jacksons, Everlys, etc.), harmony usually is much better, but all the Brothers Gibb, including Andy, had supreme control of their vocal chords.

    True, harmonies are best amongst siblings, yet the Bee Gees were the only ones able to match each other's vibrato, that's unheard of amongst the most experienced singers!

    Oh my gosh this was slow dance music! Listening to the Bee Gees in the arms of someone you cared about... the words...the rhythm, the feel...ohhh the feelings!! Iget them back when I listen!! And to see your enjoyment and respect for this...omigosh. NEVER expected a 'youngster' to be impressed let alone enjoy and like it! Robin Gibb would be so proud!! As would the other BeeGees!
