The little aged man in the blue shirt who embraced Nikola's brother is the manager of Jokic from Serbia, Misko Raznjatovic. He used to read the Serbian youth league results every Monday morning. It struck him that one talent every week put on big numbers. He ordered his scout to watch a game of that boy's team and to tell whether it was a premature physical dunker, rim protector or what... No, it is a tall, little fat, slow but extremely talented player. So Raznjatovic told his scout not to return until he got Jokic under contract. When Denver a few years later assured him of an NBA contract... Barcelona wanted to watch Jokic one last time in order to decide whether to sign him or not. Unfortunately Joker played "the worst game of his life"... Barcelona backed off. Nuggets drafted him... at 41.... On Monday it will be 4-1 and the first ring...

One thing I notice about Jokic is how careful he is to avoid committing fouls. Easy for the big men to get in trouble with that, but he cleverly prefers allowing a basket when it means he's likely to foul an opponent. As Thomas said, high IQ basketball.

Both Isiah and Kenny are the best commentator in the NBA. People like charles barclay because he made people laugh. However in terms of great point, Kenny and Isiah are the best. Watch it again know about the basket ball history and you will see that it was actually Isiah who was a little bit embarrassed and that does not happen often! Passing is the only situation where head height matters. Only shoulder height and arm length matters for other situations. Having a long neck and oblong head don't make you better at basketball unless you're trying to pass over people like Jokic. Wingspan is even kind of irrelevant, because a guy can have really wide shoulders and short arms and still have a long wingspan. Jokic has a 3" shorter wingspan than AD but has a 3" taller standing reach while only being an inch taller. He has the shoulder height and arm length of a 7'3 guy, but the height and wingspan of a 6'11 guy. That's why he can flip those little hooks and push shots over everyone with ease. His shoulders are higher and his arms are longer than everyone else's, head height be damned.

Last year we won the Stanley Cup, University of Denver won the NCAA Hockey Chip, and our Professional Lacrosse team won the National Championship as well. Now the Nuggets are one win away. Next season, the Broncos will bounce back under Sean Payton and CU Buffaloes should have a good run as well under the leadership of Coach Prime Time Deion Sanders. Isiah Thomas is the most underrated superstar in NBA history. He could do it all. He could dribble, he could shoot, he could kick it out to a wide open Joe Dumars or Vinnie Johnson or dump it in the paint and the lap of Mahorn or Laimbeer. Jokic the 2023 Finals MVP is the best player in the NBA right now. For a guy his size, to do what he does is absolutely insane.

Shaq was given the same question in crunch time throughout his entire career...Teams named his quiz 'Hack a Shaq'...The Lakers typically had to remove Shaq and let Kobe be the finisher for the Lakers. Jokic' is already better than Shaq and it isn't even close. Shaq had no outside game. Shaq was not a point center able to lead the break. Shaq was lazy and never improved the glaring weakness in his game which is shameful and pathetic!

I was going to attempt to write a rebuttal but the free throw percentage is in itself enough to sway the argument in favor of Jokic. He shoots better, he passes better, he steals better (evident in GM 4 at MIA) the rebounding would be in favor of Shaq as he has the ability to dominate inside but Jokic is the definition of finesse basketball inside the paint and he does it in a way that resembles the Kareem skyhook; unstoppable. Ultimately, if I had to rely on somebody to shoot a 3 or any perimeter shot to win a game, I'd definitely take the Joker over Shaq.

AND he was dominant the moment he stepped in the league. He was a MONSTER. Shaq, Kareem, Wilt & Russell were all significantly better defenders than Jokic as well. He's not on their level YET. I need to see him do this a few more times now that the league is fully aware of the level he's at. Teams will be more prepared to deal with him moving forward. Let's see if he can have the same success. He's an awesome player but everyone needs to pump their breaks a bit.

You can't double him or triple team him due to how elite he is at finding his open teammates.
