    there are only a small number of players like Jokic in the world. It is a joy to watch. By the eye test I knew if they got the right team around him and figured out their defense, the nuggets would go to the finals. The Nuggets were actually my pick at the beginning of the year.

    Yep I'm one of those guys. I first noticed his power and the damage he could do when he taught Morris a lesson. But this season especially, Jokic really brought back the 'big men' vibes into NBA. Love it!

    @@juandirection8820 Same with Barkley who calls out soft nba manufactured stars. When Chuck called Jokic Big Fella at the end even though he is twice his age, that was a huge compliment. A lot of people don't understand how much appreciation goes into being called Big Guy by the elder generation overall but in this case by NBA legends. Often times they compliment the guys they interview by calling them a bright young man or something like that. When Church and Shaq call you big fella they consider you an NBA legend as well at this point.

    Man, everytime Jokic gets to talk to Shaq and Chuck it's a totally different energy to any other interviewer. Jokic is a closed off guy, his circle is only really his family and his team mates.     Went to Belgrade, Serbia 🇷🇸 last year and stayed for 5days. Went to a barbershop and I mentioned I loved basketball and was a big fan of Jokic those guys were so proud of him and the things he’s doing in the NBA. It’s just remarkable the improvement in his body and game in last 9years. He’s already a legend in their eyes. And Serbia has a rich basketball history. I was trying to get his national team Jersey but didn’t find it in time. This guys will win multiple championships 🏆 and a few more MVPs before he’s done.

    Joker gives these guys the best interviews because he respects them. They have always treated him fairly, like when he had the incident with the Morris cheap shot, Chuck and Shaq both supported Jokic while other outlets were criticising him. It will be interesting to see their coverage next season as some Nuggets games might actually make it to national tv.

    I'm glad Shaq got to see Jokic in person. It really does change your perspective of how he's moving, directing his teammates, and basically playing a game of chess reading the opponents defense. Last night was a masterclass. Barely attacked and still close to 30pts on a triple double.

    It’s still mind boggling how Joker is so effortless, and those stats just come to him. It must be simply letting the game come to you & not forcing shots, etc. Pass when you see the open man.     Jokic has passing skills are like Bird and Magic. This is a beginning of the best team in the NBA for many seasons. Only thing stopping Jokic is injury. Like Hakeem showed the world he was on another level in his two championships, we are witnessing one of the greatest centre performances in NBA history.

    Its just so amazing too see becuase this is just a moment in the NBA that is just so purely deserved for a single player. Jokic is literally a model of humbleness, focus, and hard work. Hes worked his way to this point and everyone understands that now. Huge fan of him.

    I'm so bloody impressed by how many perfect choices for passing he made all throughout game 1. Jokic put on a clinic! And the fadeaway shot in the 4th quarter by Jokic was icing on the cake. The guy really announced himself in the NBA finals. Butler and Co really have to rethink their strategy with such a size and power mismatch between the two teams

    The Jokinator he is so present and focused. Totally unbelievable. I tip my hat to this man and to the whole team. Cuz the one thing that Scottie pippen did get right is it does take a team to win. But in this case there's definitely a centerpiece. So props to you. Great job! I can't take anything away from the heat. Everything that they have done in accomplish this year is simply amazing and this is the first time in the NBA finals that I am choked on who I want to win. There's a great reason I want both of these teams to win and it tugs at my heart strings. I just hope for a long series and a nice professional bout of true NBA basketball. May the best team win!

    Stepping up to put digits on the scoreboard for your team is always expected of any lead player. But putting everyone else in the team and get them involved is way way better.     Should the Nugs get Game 2, then it's a wrap. No question. This team is just too darn complete and consistent and it's always 3-4 of them leveling up. Not just 1-2. As for The Joker, he well reminds me of Mr. Fundamental. Nothing flashy BUT always effective. He's a Timmy with a Trey!

    I've been saying for the past couple of years now - it's only a matter of time before the Joker begins his dynasty. A couple years ago it was Embiid vs Joker with a lot of folks leaning towards Joel. I laughed about that comparison for the longest time and am glad Jokic is finally setting the record straight. Dude is mentally tough, one of the most well-rounded & talented players we have, and humble to boot. The NBA got a great one!
