His versatility is unmatched at the 5. Passing, shooting, post game, IQ, playmaking. He’s proved he’s clutch. I genuinely think the bar is set so high for him, he went 28/16/4 on 12/16 shooting which by any standard is a stellar close out game. Easily would’ve had double digit assists if the team hit some shots too. He’s a unicorn, and himself IS the system. LeBron needs teams built for him and is niche as he is so ball dominant. Jokic contributes in all areas for a team to be successful, his efficiency is uncanny. Every time he touches the ball you know something is about to happen. Not to mention he was a sharpshooter for the whole playoffs, 40%+ from 3. Unreal productivity and a true winner. Congrats Champ 🤴

The first 3 have multiple MVPs and multiple titles. Shaq, Hakeem, and Robinson also have multiple titles (but only 1 MVP each). Malone has 3 MVPs and 1 title. And the Nuggets took EVERYTHING away from him. I love how Jay WIll mentioned that the last 3 champions have been home grown. Just goes to show that LeBron & KD didn't need to go off & build superteams to win a championship. I truly believe that if you're really that great, you'll eventually get over the hump & win a chip, such as Giannis did, Jokic, Curry, & how Kobe did it without Shaq. I think if LeBron & KD would've stuck to the grind, they would've eventually won without having to build a superteam, & their legacies would be much more respectable. Not saying I don't respect them, LeBron is probably the 2nd or 3rd GOAT & KD is the GOAT scorer imo, but they would definitely have more respect & a better legacy had they not gone off to create superteams. Legler talking about Jokic needs better competition in the finals when Lebron went to 8 straight finals for basically free playing nobody with his big 3s in that at the time ultra weak East but they won't say Lebron needed to go through better teams in the East though to justify anything, we've seen what he's done in the West now that he's been in a REAL conference, just one lucky bubble break chip to show for it in 6 years with 1 finals appearance.
