It also shows all the mental and emotional things a couple of kids can go through when they find out they may have made a mistake together. And, of course, the way things turn out, Kids are EVERYTHING and there is no cure for what parents feel when the baby leaves the nest. Only parents will understand this. :)

I have a similar story. I met my husband my senior year of high school and he was graduating college. We were engaged for six months before we got married and have been happily married for sixteen years. And I noticed you're from Illinois. I grew up near Peoria, so that's pretty cool. Kudos for being a responsible man and working toward your goals while taking care of your family.

I was 17, pregnant and kicked out of my parents home when this song came out. Everytime I hear it I still get chills and almost brings me to tears. One of those songs I can listen to in public for sure 😂 It makes me cry even more now that my curly haired & blonde daughter will be graduating high school in a few years. There goes my life 😭😭😭

Glue Guns & Roses, God Bless You as a Working Mother! I was 25 before my first son was born and we were married long before he came along. Our second son was a few years behind (he's the crazy one). And when our youngest was born, she was (and still is) THE MOST BEAUTIFUL THING I HAD EVER SEEN (I am biased and fully aware of that, but I really TRY not to show favoritism between the kids)! We got divorced some time ago and she remarried; the kids are with their mother and her husband. The oldest is about to graduate High School this coming year. I am not sure what my middle kid wants to do, he's too much like me, all over the place. My curly-haired, Blue-eyed girl has plenty of time to figure things out. How Time Does Fly!

This song gets me every time. I enlisted in the Army at 17. I planned on just 3 years, then moving on. Got stationed in Hawaii and got a girl pregnant. I was lost, irresponsible, to care free, then suddenly I caved in. I seriously thought I’d ruin that kids life. Now I’m retired from the Army, Two degrees, and my oldest is a student at ODU. I’ve had one hell of a life. Been to war, been all around the world, built a family, and am retired at 39 just savoring every moment I’m alive. God Bless you and your family, I know he’s sure blessed me!

This song gets me everytime. I practically lived this song word for word. From being terrified of what's to come, all my plans and dreams down the drain. To a curly headed toddler with a teddy bear bigger than her and those giggles....my life was hers then. Now she's driving (a honda no less), and has a stepfather who absolutely adores and loves her like his very own. Anytime she drives off somewhere or goes to a job interview or ready to spread her wings....man o man....my heart walks around on the outside of my body. There goes my whole life in that beautiful human being. And you are right....it can be DONE! With work and commitment! Great video!

This song always reminded me of my mom and dad. Mama was 16 when she got pregnant with my older brother, my dad was 18. It was 1968. Vietnam was in high gear. Dad could been called up anytime. But he didn't, they got married and almost got celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary. Mom was 21 when she had me. Dad was 23. I been blessed, I have had best parents. Made no difference they were young. They did what they had to do, and did it cause they loved each other, and loved us. And it's great see how far you and your channel has grown, and it's kinda cool us MRMIs been there kinda from the start. And God Bless you, your channel and all my MRMIs....love my MRM family💕💗

He will be 5 in July … 2018 I got pregnant again and the father really didn’t want another child at the time but I couldn’t abort the baby…. I saw the heartbeat and just couldn’t do it…. He came around and in august 2019 I gave birth to a healthy baby boy who will be 2 in august! Thank you very much for sharing your story (and your faith). I hope there are a lot of people who take it to heart. I just subscribed to your channel, and I'll be watching other reactions. This is one of my favorite Kenny Chesney songs. My own story (on the other side of the match) marches along with this song and your story, as well. I never did get to go to Julliard the way I wanted to, BUT...I finished high school (thanks to my parents and his sister and brother-in-law, who supported us and helped keep us going). As a young adult I was in choirs and singing groups and did solo work as well...while also working full time. Then (as had happened with my own mom--not the same situation--just that she was musical long before any of us kids were), I began to pass the music down through my kids. Not only that, but I've passed down my love of art in general, and now I get to see the wonderful things my grandkids are capable of. After having our first four kids, and after my husband had been to Viet Name, in 1976 we divorced. In 1983, after moving away from Alaska, I met my second-and-forever husband...in church. He had one boy from his first marriage. He and my two boys and two girls joined forces just a few months later, and then we added a third girl to the mix, who is now 33 years old, married to a great guy, and they have seven children. The other kids are scattered around the country with their own spouses and kids (we have 19 grands and four great-grands), but we live with that last one...bought a small hobby farm with them, and we love being here as part of an 11-member country family. God is good! The reason I came to watch this reaction, was because of your channel name. If you check out this link, you'll understand. ;-) lindawing.net/ (also, you might want to read through this one: lindawing.net/arts/music/my-musical-life/). Again...thank you for the great reaction, and for sharing your story.

This one hit me really hard. After my 19 year old cousin died one of her friends made a slideshow with pictures of her on it and this was one of the songs on it. Ten years later and the look on her dad's face as he listened to this song and looked at pictures of his daughter a few hours after her funeral is still very vivid in my mind. It was rough. Even now when I hear this song it is almost instant tears.

Rita Mead same here! Ty is so relatable and humble it would not cross my mind that he’s not telling us the truth about his accomplishments and such.

I hear ppl knock on country all the time but so much of it touches your soul, and to me that's what music ultimately should be.

You were blessed TYLAND because you paid attention when you met good mentors. I am sure you didn't know they were good mentors and also questioned yourself if it was proper, but in the end, you saw more than yourself and saw beyond just the here and now of yesterday. How to talk of today compared to yesterday is difficult, but it isn't impossible. Time is different of course but if you relate and care and respect real life, then you also can relate and care and respect people that were there before you and there is no excuse for being rude or or or or. Us old people also desire and hope and dream too, but we don't give up.We just adjust and adapt. :) I liked this song :)

Ty, I can look you in your eyes, tell you are real and who you say. It's so easy to tell when someone is BS'ing you. I love your channel, all because you are real and say what you feel -- regardless if anyone critisizes you.

You’ve gotta review The Cadillac Three “Take me to the bottom” and “Party Lije You”, Whiskey Myers “Virginia” and/or “Stone”, Eric Church “Outsiders” and/or “Chattanooga Lucy”, Reba McEntire “Fancy”....all are fantastic

Ooooooooooooooh, this is one of my favourite songs. It won be over to country. Can't wait to hear/see what you think. I love the meaningful twists in country songs like this! Each time the chorus is sung, it has a different meaning, which shocked me the first time I saw it and had tears streaming down my face.

When the song came out my girlfriends and I talked how we got so choked up to see this video because it reminded us of how looking back how our children have grown and how it tore us up the day they left the house to go away and start their new life that’s the hard part letting go

When i first heard this song, it brouht be back to 11th grade, 1980. This is exactly what my hs boyfriend and i faced. We ended up having a beautiful baby boy who is now 38 years old. One of the biggest challenges of my entire life but i wouldnt change it even if i could. The boyfriend split, but i held on to that child with everything i am. God is the only way i did this. I give him all the glory. He is true to his word time after time. He takes all that is wrong and makes it right.💕

It's funny how you mentioned your wife being older. I met my wife through a work trip (her company was a customer of my company). In fact, she was the project coordinator and I reported to her during the project (and I've been reporting to her ever since! :^P ) That was almost 25 years ago. She is over 7 years older than me. In fact, I'm a few months closer in age to her oldest niece (who was her maid of honor) than I am to my wife. We have 2 wonderful kids (college senior and high school senior) and I can't imagine going through this life with anyone else.
