Nice video I have a very similar model but... the vent flue that goes to the ceiling is only one piece. I can unscrew it from the top (it's flush with the ceiling) and there's about 3/4" of it that extends into the bottom assembly... so there's no room to take it out to get to the fuse. It won't drop down into the main assembly far enough to remove it. I think it was installed improperly. I'm not sure how to get at the fuse without wrecking the flue. Any suggestions welcome!

Hi. I have replaced my fuse a few times because the lights wouldn't work and later had to replace the transformer which fixed my light problem at the time. I ended up switching to LED bulbs because the halogens burned out too fast and were quite hot. All has been going well for about a year, however, now the lights work for a few minutes and then go dim. If I shut the light switch off and then back on, they get bright again. The fan works fine. Any ideas what's going on? I have the same exact range that is in your video, however, mine is a Broan Elite Series RM51000. Interesting.

Where did you get your LED bulbs? A particular part number? Thanks!

I had an island range hood installed about 10 yrs ago and now the lights won't turn on although I have two switch sources and neither of them work. It could be a blown fuse but an appliance repairman will costs me a fortune to change the fuse. My only question- why in the heck is the fuse in such a place that you have to remove the outer hood to replace the part? At this point I will just let it go --- thank god I still have the fan.

They should make it easier to get to that fuse. If you follow the steps in the video it only take you about 20 minutes.
