Brad giving this a 0/10 was a great shock to us all, but he explained it so thoroughly and succinctly that everyone understands why he feels this way and everyone seemed to respect his unpopular opinion. THEN, he started praising AJR, and a lot of people in chat started doxxing him. Truly says a lot about society.

For a while, I never got why so many people considered Kendrick a legendary rapper. Don't get me wrong, I didn't hate him or anything, I certainly thought he was talented, I just didn't get why he was considered a GOAT. Then I heard To Pimp A Butterfly, and it all clicked. I may not always agree with Fantano, but he was right on the money when he gave TPAB a 10. Every inch of it is laced with beautiful production, skillful rapping, and amazing lyrics. Genuinely one of the best albums of the 2010s, and an absolute vibe in every single conceivable way. 10/10. Pure musical beauty.

This is one of the albums I can accredit to enriching my overall love for music in general. Never had I listened to an album that made me experience a rollercoaster of emotions while also making me think critically of the subject matter that's being conveyed prior to this album. Can't wait to see this underground artist hit the mainstream, I believe he'll take the world by storm!
Best album of the last 10 years. But still didn't win AOTY at the grammy's, i digress...
What I love about "For Free" is that he's rapping as if he's auctioning off his dick 😂 Brilliant!

All jokes aside, the amount of effort Brad puts into editing his videos into entertaining videos whilst still including the best moments is amazing, even with all the copyright stuff.
it feels good to be the only Brad Taste fan allowed to sing along to this album
EVERY PATRICK IS A STAAAAAAAAAAAAR
These Walls has a gorgeous chord progression. That in itself is emotional.
That “DJ KHALED” right before the drop on u was everything 😭🙏🏼 26:45
I didn't realize how much I had in common with Brad on this album in the fact that it really didn't click with me at all at first, I hated it but for some reason I decided to put it on a thrid time (hated the first 2, didnt even get past the first 5 tracks), and Wesley's Theory clicked with me so hard its like a whole new world of music opened up to my eyes, I liked the whole album and it got me into hip hop and rap music as a whole, which then lead to me listening to even more genres and now exploring many albums for any music, and what kind of music I listen to not really being an answerable question (I ussualy just give my all time favorite albums). Another thing is having your favorite album be the #1 (or in this case now #2 album) of all time and insanely critically acclaimed, even though I loved it before I knew about any of this. Ok Computer (and Kid A, which I think is 100% just as good and they're tied for my favorite album of all time) made me love music so much, and over time I only loved them more and more. I first heard them when I was 12 (just because I had liked Karma Police), and Radiohead as a whole changed my life. Before that my favorite band was Imagine Dragons. Now a few years later being into the music critic type of thing (like being an aoty user and all that), it's just kinda wierd that my favorite album ever is also considered the #1 of all time before tpab was. But it's also 100% deserved Just making this comment to note this observations I made myself
Fun fact, one of the tracks on this album is co-written by Sufjan Stevens of all people

What I love about These Walls is it one of the most accessible songs on the album, but still retains the beautiful production and layered story telling that the rest of the album has. Truly a perfect song imo.
damn this kendrick lamar guy is pretty good hope he gets big someday
Love this album! Kendrick Lamar is the GOAT at pimping butterflies, I couldn't even believe he made them at first!
when Kendrick said "It's To Pimp a Butterfly time" and the beat dropped made the whole album ❤ second best artist ever but to be fair its hard to beat ajr
Can't wait to binge this. Listened to the album recently and loved it
The beat switch on institutionalized gives me goosebumps so hard

momma is such a good song and it feels warm
omg! i've been revisting this album again lately and now i get to listen to it with my other parasocial music bro? wooooooo
The poem arrangement and album outro song automatically makes it a 10/10
I love you bradley
This makes me want to see other creators react to their favorite albums live because how emotional brad was makes me want to see how people react to the best thing they've heard, in their opinion. I can say that when i listen to process, malibu or the island boys album, tears form. Want to see others do this
this really is the second best ronnie radke album
great album, one of the few albums I cried too
I love the amazing call reference when talking about u
i had the same experience when momma started playing right after for sale… it was something that i can even explain properly
brad and kendrick rapping together in alright actually went so hard im ngl
Finally my dreams come true a video of Brads beautiful angelic singing covering TPAB because copyright.
love you and this album. too bad after all this time, it's still missing the crucial tom macdonald feature
Glad we have the choice for our all time fav album
The amount of times I've listened to the few quips off TPAB as memes before I listened to the album. The screaming from the intro to u, without context of the album I thought was funny, and the time I actually listened to TPAB, hearing that intro, I almost laughed. Looking at it now feels disrespectful but at the same time, brad did put WE DA BEST MUSIC in the beat switch, so I'm not alone in memeing around with it, but also appreciating and loving this song/this album as a whole
Tom McDonald influence is impeccable
26:44 - Truly a breathtaking moment
I want you to sing along to every album now!
bro your singing voice is so beautiful you should start a music career or something
Brad Lamar has a great voice
Institutionalized is easily a 10/10. One of my favorite beats in a long time 💯
Lucy is meant to be the devil. The contract is signing a deal with devil
Yo something tells me this album will get popular. I wonder what that fantano guy will think of it if he sees it
Brad, we know you just wanted to upload this to show off your incredible singing skills
Ending of "For Sale" fucking scares me, i dont know anything about the album without reading comments and videos disecting the album, songs, and lyrics but the ending bruh Song felt like paradise and/or garden or eden and it smoothly transitions to despair and darkness with the dings reminding me of police sirens like i just killed a body and im around the woods at night running away from the police or something And realizing lucy was lucifer the whole time (ik its obvious, i told you i was a dumbass) so it was a "paradise" in disguise added the extra eerie feeling to the ending
ARE YOU THE REASON WHY MOMMA AND THE M LEA V IN G
So sad I missed the stream for this and then couldn't watch it unlisted before it got removed. It isn't the same with the cuts. But great video!
This is no joke, actually so good
GRACIAS!!!
33:48 i completely agree with this, i found this song just to be the chorus and nothing else, until you start paying attention to the synths and overall the instrumental, you can feel that overwhelming, like feeling out of your mind or something like that, like that temptation just sucking you, its an amazing track just because of that (personal top 3 for me tbh)
u is so good bruh
I immediately started listening to this album at work a third of the way through the video, hadn't listened to it in years and I forgot how incredible it was. Side note, I got the edited CD at Wal-Mart the week the album was released, "For Free?" is pretty funny censored but nowhere near as memetic as "We Cry Together". I was also shocked at how many words they missed off the bat on "Wesley's Theory"
Thanks for including me on the thumbnail
I love the writing in this album. I think it’s some of the best ever, but as music and as an album it didn’t emotionally hit me like some other albums have and I genuinely feel like I’m missing out

I wanted to do a side by side for this video with the original, I was gonna first listen to the song then watch react to it and go back and forth like that but instead I just ended up listening to the whole album and I agree it was fucking incredible
i fucking love this album
The Logic influence is CRAZZYYY!!!
Thanks for giving these humble indie rappers some exposures
if this was chocolate starfish and the hotdog flavored water brad would have gived it a 3/10
so happy to appear in this amazing moment 26:41
I think I had a similar experience of listening to this album as yours. But for me I didn't grow up listening to albums all the way through because I only ever heard the radio and hits from artists. After I heard HUMBLE I decided I'll try to listen to this Kendrick guy more and started with TPAB and I also didn't like it, but after listing to more Kendrick songs and immersing myself more into music in general by listening to more albums in full I reheard it and is literally my top 3 albums of all time, with Kendrick being one of my favourite artist of all time as well.
