Ken Wilber - Erogenous Zones of Life, Light, and Emptiness

How to make love with all three bodies! No, we aren't talking about a threeway (though that's not necessarily out of the question...) Here Ken Wilber talks about what it means to fuck with your physical body (Life) your subtle body (Light) and your causal body (Emptiness). So pour yourself a glass of wine, throw on some Barry White, and enjoy ;-)

fnog9 well perhaps it is not needed but for those who are beginning to grow spiritually it can really bring light. Hearing ken talk about exactly what they are talking about is a pretty exciting feeling

If you read anything by Wilber or watch other clips, youll see he definitely includes the "always already enlightened," while also honoring the developmental reality. This correlates with ultimate and relative truths.

what do you mean? he answered the question with "Take more perspectives or beings into account." I find this guy brilliant. So many new, and useful ideas were presented in this talk.

i also just learned that "always already" was first popularized by Heidegger.

I totally agree with you man, he said absolutely nothing. "I knew some people who had an open marriage and it was ok but then it failed and blah blah blah with a capital B" And those people were acting like it was speaking the absolute truth. did I miss something?

He certainly appears to be very knowledgable about spiritual 'techniques', yet I feel he is one of many, many teachers who are propagating the message "you are not good enough as you are - you must do this before you can achieve that". He describes what is possible for those who are sufficiently 'developed'. I find other teachers - like Tolle, Maharaj and Mooji - who encourage us to be aware of what is happening right now (including our own efforts) far more convincing. Just a thought :)

he kind of did when he mentioned to take more and more beings into account. but i agree, he must have forgotten about that part of the question.

No. He took it from Sapta Na Adi Da. Go now and watch a few 3 minute videos clips of Adi Da here on youtube and see for your-self. and Ken Wilbur has declared (not-publicly) that Adi Da is his Master. Ken Wilbur is a good man. I just wish he would be a very strong man and acknowledge his Guru openly and show the respect that is traditionally deemed a fundamental requirement.

you're right. But I think Wilber has many teachers, and both Dzogchen and Maharshi uses the "always already" line. also, you know Wilber has written like 20 books on this stuff, and has been practicing for over 30 years. It's ok to consider him an expert, yeah?

I listened to this clip and it seems to me that he didn't actually say anything. He made it appear like he is familiar with a heap of 'stuff' and therefore very intimidating to the average joe but to me, he is blowing hot-air. As for the 'always already' term that he uses, are you aware of where he took that from?

I do understand it...similar to extended massive orgasms. Spiritually like floating in outer space totally at one with everything, I am you, you are me, we are all connected...mindful of now, alive, pulsing with energy, light emanating from pores, flying, peace, utter joy, warmth, love intense tingling, big mind, bliss...

There is no doubt that Ken Wilbur has a head full of knowledge of all sorts but that might only mean he has an awesome memory. I am not trying to knock him and say that he has nothing to give in the way of a higher philosophy or a greater understanding but if you observe him he speaks about 'enlightenment' as if he is enlightened. Adi Da, his Satguru, has not declared any such thing. And I don't hear a man of great spontaneous Wisdom when he speaks.

"after all this technical talk." lol! As if anything Ken says is less technical. Ken talks about all these "higher states" as if states mean something. Does he forget who is experiencing the states? Isn't that what really important? I don't know... he seems infinitely more intellectual than needed. " Here Ken Wilber talks about what it means to fuck with your physical body (Life) your subtle body (Light) and your causal body (Emptiness)." Does a moment need further definition or given meaning?

this is nothing new, just another interpretation and I have been using those views or similar ones for many years - re: intimacy on all four levels or more...mind, body, soul, spirit and emotions etc. multi dimensional and also using visualization and meditation while making love...the ladies love it, those that get it haha...then get it, lol...

Here we go again. What the hell is Sniffy Wilber talking about now? I swear this kid was beaten on the head with an Encyclopedia. Sheeesh! He sure can talk. He isn't holding a pen in this video. Maybe that's his way of telling the questioner that sexuality is best using two hands. Maybe his message is that if you aren't in the mood, just keep talking and she'll fall asleep. Maybe his message is that he hasn't got a message. So why won't his listeners get the message?
