Jimmie McRustlin Agreed. However cases like, where it's clear and his/her name is available should be reportable to law enforcement/FBI so they can look into the person and see if they have a service record. In the event it doesn't check out a warrant should be placed for their arrest. It's more than doable, just nobody wants to do it.

God damn, for some reason even MY anxiety shoots through the roof when I see these real vets callin' out these imposters! I would NEVER have the balls to do something like this! When I was in grade school I loved putting on all the camo and stuff, but I think that was a pretty standard little boy thing to do, I've never even heard of someone doing this let alone do it myself lol, so maybe it's not my anxiety that's rising, maybe it's my anger! All I know is these vets are all very good at holding back their real aggression! I bet all of them are one smug comment away from just losing it on these fools! Keep it up guys!

I once travelled to the U.S for vacation and went to one of those military surplus stores. I ended up buying a combat shirt and some patches. After going back to my hotel room, KZread showed me some stolen valor videos. Ever since, I got scared of wearing the shirt and ended up wearing it only twice. I stored it in a case when I went back home. It just showed me how much soldiers sacrifice themselves and how people respected them, and I was there on vacation

Im not trying to be mean but why do you keep saying people died for that uniform?,,,,,,no one dies for a uniform they die because they joined the military and when you join the military you know there is a chance that you might have to kill someone in a combat situation or you might be killed yourself in a combat situation,,,if your buddies died for anything it was for the financial / security interests of the USA or they may have died for the constitution in their own hearts but no one joins the military to die for a uniform,,, too bad the country doesn't mean as much to you as that clothe uniform does maybe we wouldn't have a communist in the white house and the UN eroding away our soveriegnty

The uniform represents the U.S. When someone says something like "I know people who have died for that uniform" they're saying that they know someone who has died for their country.Yes, people join knowing they might die but that doesn't mean it doesn't suck worse than anything. Just because you know something is a possibility doesn't mean you shouldn't feel bad about it.

When I was in the U.S. Army, AR 670-1 stated that we weren’t allowed to wear our utility uniform out in public let alone travel in them on a commercial flight. We had to travel in Class A uniform or respectable looking civilian attire. We were allowed to wear utilities in public if we were traveling to and from work and needed to stop for necessities, i.e, food, medicine, etc., but not for much anything else. If we stopped anywhere, while wearing our utilities, it had to be momentarily and not for an extended amount of time. Now, I see soldiers wearing their utility uniforms in public all the time, especially shopping in stores, drinking coffee at Starbucks, etc. When did this all change?
