Thank you, very well said. I see so many parents that just let their children do what they want in the name of unschooling.
As a deeply progressive parent who homeschools for reasons polar opposite of the vast majority of homeschoolers both in my local area and those loudest on social media it can be deeply frustrating to find either community or materials (compounded by financial considerations locking me out of a curriculum I really love) When they pull their kids because they can't get their entire wish list of books removed from the school library I copy that list into my amazon Wishlist to acquire for my childs library.... both because I'm sure that is important art and info, and I can be just a bit spiteful.....
