God bless you...there is bo other pain like losing a Papa....I'm 47 years old and most people would think that's old enough to not NEED him; but they'd be wrong...it was 10 years in January and still feels like yesterday to my heart. You are in my prayers sweetie.

My grandpa died at hospital in December 2011. He helped me to get through the dark living room at my home back in 2010s. (I don't remember the date). He also made an wooden rectangle chair and a wooden chest back in 2010s but I think I forgot the year when did my grandpa made 2 wooden stuff. He bought me a toy robot for me but I forgot the year or date when did my grandpa gave me a toy robot. He also painted 3 rooms in the second floor. He bought a radio for himself but I forgot the year or date when he bought a radio for himself. But sadly he died in 2011 and it's still painful to live without my grandpa. Note: I don't remember some past times with my grandpa from 2006 to 2011

My grandpa passed last night, was looking for a song that could put my feelings for him into words. This song pretty much summed it up, this and grandpa’s little girl so far have done it.

What a beautiful song , might seem strange but I listen to this song every morning the song helps me remember the beautiful things my grandfather did for me and so many others he didn't teach me how to drive a tractor but he did teach me how to drive a three on the tree Ford Ranchero when I was 10 years old I drove that truck every time I saw him everywhere we went I wish we could go for one more ride

I miss my grandpa so he grew up on a farm in horse days . He could fix or build anything and he treated my mom and my sister and I like we were boys ( which we aren't) but because of him we became scientists because he didn't limit us or our dreams. He ended up being a fireman a brave and funny guy and smart but had to stop school at 12 to help support the younger kids along with his brother after his mom died. Yet he's the one who taught me algebra etc ( he taught himself) and art perspective etc. Such a good honorable kind man we were so lucky to have him in our life.

My grandpa always wore overalls just like yours did. They loved the simple stuff so we'd go sit outside after dinner at look at the stars and talk and listen to crickets, frogs and night birds such sweet memories. And he always helped with the dishes, vacuuming or any other task my grandma needed help with

Can only remember one grandparent. Grandpa passed when I was 5 years old. Can recall my brother waking me up saying " You know that old man who came visit yesterday...well he died." When you are kids never refer to members of family with aunt, uncle, cousin, nor grandpa..except mom and dad was respected.

I totally agree i just lost my grandpa monday night n he was always there for me.i was there for him.its really hard dealing with the memories n accepting the regrets i have not going more be cuz i was depressed for 3 years n wanted to always be alone.thats the hardest part..😭😭😭😢
