I love this pick for so many reasons, best reason is the impact with Bam. Bam’s best aspect is his ability to guard 1 through 5 but we never see that since they immediately take advantage of a mismatch in the paint but now they can’t do that. Bam had Tatum in hell in the first round when we had bam on him 24/7 and now we’d have Ware not Caleb Martin guarding a center. Also love his post game to take advantage of mismatches because we saw Boston put Tatum on gafford and it work in the finals but they can’t do that with Ware.

Back to back home runs for the Heat draft. Once again we have found the perfect fit for the franchise AND the player. I think we’re filling a need more than JJJ. Our lack of size has bitten us in the ass our entire current run. We’ve addressed that without getting slower and clogging the paint.

Even when we made the final Dance the finals the reason we’ve lost is because of size vs the Lakers and Nuggets so glad we finally added some size I was actually praying we didn’t pick Dalton and picked Ware and celebrated it I was in on him last year for the Heat before he returned to college

Such a good pick for the heat but not just for his obvious talents. Sliding Bam to the 4 will be amazing and really unlock his offensive game and allow him to be such a versatile defender hunting weakside rotations and blocks. I love it great pick.

I think Jovic is our future SF. He'll be a playmaker, then our PG will be a scorer.

I loved Rozier back in college and a healthy Hero so Ware is going to a team than only need an athletic 7-footer

Bam is going to be way more effective at the 4. He only has to worry about making shots at the elbows, getting to the rack and playing defense. Ware will help bolster that front court and add some much needed rim protection. Plus he shoots 3s 😁😁😁

Would be cool to see him start right off the bat

I'd love it if we go for Spida but Ware shouldn't be part of the price. He's brought in to address size and we'd be getting rid of that fix if we trade him away. Rather I'd put in Tyler Herro in that package and go from there. (giving up Jaime would suck too but Ware in my eyes is an experiment worth trying still after years of smallball).
