Why do you assume the decision to pass on the Heat deal was driven by Caleb's agent not Caleb? Additionally, the Heat have been really weak at the "4" and Caleb was able to play that position. They weren't going to trade him unless they were getting someone to plug that hole.

The heat camp is despicable. The first thing they do when Caleb signed is leak the deal he turned down to try to make him look bad and make the heat look good. @@Wilcoranking no I’m not referring to the public knowledge of salaries part. That has always been a thing. Its the timing. Yesterday there was “rumored” news of what the heat MIGHTVE offered. But today as soon as caleb signed we see multiple sources essentially saying “by the way this isn’t the Heat’s fault , cause they offered a 5 year 65mm salary and caleb is taking less money in philly” in a way its them trying to divert the attention away from them. If they had made any significant moves that actually improved us or even put us in a better direction of a rebuild there wouldve been no need to make that PR push or try to make Caleb and his agent look bad for the deal they accepted.

Nah, he definitely fumbled. What opportunity does he actually have in Philly? He's taken less money for a lesser role. Unless he starts at the SG spot. But he's shaky as an SG. And they have McCain on the bench, if used right, that may be their starting 2 guard. Caleb is an undersized 4, so he'll play behind Pg and Oubre. What happens after his contract? Miami's offer was most likely his final big payday, and his agent fumbled. I'm rooting for Caleb, but I doubt he flourishes in Philly.

Dont care.. Caleb was not it. too many threes turned into twos cus he doesnt know how to move a quarter inch behind the line... We dodged a bullet by over paying a high level role player. The only part that sucks is that he brought streaky offense, and he was a dog in clutch moments... he played okay defense but cmon now.... Pat seems to be hell benton getting Demar Derozan but we need a third team to help us out in a trade.
