Being Nigerian, I really wish and hope our cuisine can be more recognised. Africa in general really isn't on the map in terms of a lot of cultural discussion which is really unfortunate because there's so many incredible similarities and differences with cultures from all over the world that people just never really pay attention to in regard to Africa especially. Videos like this make me genuinely happy to see.

@nininana972 I'm a nicu mum myself, I just don't see enough people talking about it. I was induced early as a last minute decision, my kid was born during the exact week we were moving house an hour away so we dealt with a lot of guilt balancing the move. She was in the nicu for two months and giving ourselves just one day not driving up to go see her we felt heartbroken/guilty and incredibly judged by nurses when we weren't there. So many things about this process are usually private, even all time spent in nicu we never really knew our child until we all came home together two months into it. I'm not sure I can ever fully describe everything it puts you through.

Ugh I always get misty eyed hearing about Henry’s birth. For those who don’t know, he was born about two MONTHS early. Having a baby in the NICU is hard enough, but in a completely different town in an unfamiliar hospital must have been hell.

I love it when communities feel seen and represented in a right way and food always seem like the most wholesome way. Food connects us and experiencing or being exposed to different cultures is one of the best ways to grow. I've only had Nigerian food once but it was amazing and so flavourful compared to the Scandinavian food I've grown up with.

@loswingman I was also a NICU baby. I was born 4 months early at only 24 weeks. I only weighed 1 pound 8 ounces. My parents also had many worries about my development. I don't remember what my mom stated about her experience watching me in the NICU but I will say she watched what the staff did, and took notes of the many things they did. Because of the fact I was a premie, My lungs hadn't fully developed. Now as a 16yr old, I've had asthma my whole life and I have taken prednisone(only when my respiratory system got really tight). I often wonder what would have happened if I had taken part of study(or if I was voluntarily put in a study by my Mom). I've heard stories of other premies being in studies that would access their development. Thankfully, I also have no learning disabilities and my health is okay besides my asthma. Thank you for leaving your comment because I really felt that I was seen. ❤

I am a NICU baby, born 3 months early, I was 2 pounds 5 ounces. I could fit in the palm of your hand. so the comments from Keith saying he was thrust into father hood, you weren't supposed to be here yet I'm not ready. I feel that, and have heard somewhat of a similar sentiment from my father about the night I was born. I pray everything goes well and that the baby grows up healthy. I don't comment much or expose myself online much but this one hit close to home. I was a part of the elgan study which has now moved its H.Q to north Carolina and partnered with something called the echo study. All I know is from a young age up until a few years ago at 18 they would give me a MRI and or pet scan to look at my brain, my body, and just see what about me made it so I have no birth defects, no learning disabilities, I was able to grow to be 5'11 today and I'm a big boy, over 200 pounds and have always been a big boy. They wondered what made me bigger and less likely to have problems and I believe I was just lucky. I was also put on Prednisone for a few years which I think they were also studying me for the day effects of that long term a use

You need to pay Keith ungodly amounts of money and steal him. I think he's the most likeable person on the KZread channels I've seen. Another all-time great with two digital media powerhouses. Much appreciation Redd and Link.

One of the best interview formats I have seen. Seemed real and casual at the same time. Having Keith around is always a gas and add Josh into the mix and you have internet gold 🎉🎉🎉

wow shout out to other Euphonium players/folks who know wtf that is. I always say a mix between a trumpet and a tuba and feel so seen by Keith TY.

Right? I always have to explain what it is to people, sometimes even people who were IN band. I say "tuba but small" and when I explain a marching bari or euph it's "trumpet but overgrown and heavy"
