I could not relate more to this. I just turned 22 in October and realized I'm lesbian this year. I've gone thru the same. My mom is homophobic and my dad was once upon a time as well. He seems to be accepting for the most part now tho. I'm excited to continue to try to fully accept myself and find myself by expressing myself the way I should've long ago.

I love kehlani big fan congratulations on your success of life being honest being a mother being a lesbian being whatever you wanna be that doesn't make you a person of social media to talk about it's life you have a Soft spirit just like me I totally understand I have four mix children that I pushed out and I just came out four and a half years ago so yes at that point I was bisexual and then the question started coming like🤦 I can't have all these kids and be gay? are you really gay all those kids ?why you just decided that you gay now? how you know your gay?so you just wanted to have kids with a man and then go gay ? Women that got kids take all the good ones so they confuse to 😩So I wasn't worthy enough to be with a woman that loves me and my children because I have four children with one man I was confused suicidal emotional left out heartbroken helpless scared for my children because how would Mens feel about the situation or my kids daddy might feel even my family and friends those are the questions 😩🤦💔but never got with a man or look at after me and my girl friend got together I am very open I'm happy I'm in love she has the sweetest heart she a giver she a motivator she loves my children I am comfortable I'm shy..but no feeling of the hurt and pain from multiples men that I came across but no not all men is bad I don't hate men's I just feel more connected with woman's 😊I love feminine females but I also like females that's masculine and act aggressive no stereotype that's just what I like and men's still holler at me everyday and I have nothing against that but I will never have a man's experience again I'm a woman for a woman ..and she's my first almost 5yrs🥰

Big Kehlani fan here! I sure appreciate you both for creating and being so open and honest! You both are changing hearts and minds and helping people everywhere accept themselves. We all have our stories and struggles but loving ones self is what's important in life. Ignore the noise and enjoy the moment, love you both!

I've never listened to her music. I've only heard of her and after watching this I plan to listen to her songs. She is so vulnerable and down to earth and that makes me like her just as a person. I wish I knew her as a friend.

Kehlani is very sensitive. She should not read those mean comments. It’s gotten to her understandable Such a sweet soul under so much heavy scrutiny by the public at such a young age. Relationships are not about gender, race, class etc. There about people. As long as her partner whom ever the gender brings her happiness does it matter? No it doesn’t. I love Kehlani!

Well clearly not 'news' to you but congratulations on gaining clarity. I so appreciate your choosing Lesbian as a way to identify yourself. Lesbian erasure is a thing and it's frightening to me that Lesbian is an identifier that so many folks are afraid to use. We're all works in progress, all the time, our entire lives. You do you mama. Lesbian proud!
