why are the speakers positioned so poorly ? tweeters are at ear level when standing but should be so when seated

Kef has an extremely wide sound stage. It's not necessary to have it at ear level because of it. For the exception of the subwoofer, this is the closer to IMAX only difference is they're usually full range speakers with no sub but one for THX specs . As far as placement to the screen, The speakers are placed near the center of the screen so that the combo of the two make it sound like it's coming from the actual screen instead of the sides with the center to round it out. The symmetry would have been a little off had they brought it down with the sub. I noticed that all the speakers were all the same height for the exception of the center. I would have personally put a transparent screen (next size up) in front of the speakers to bring the center behind a transparent screen.Tough, you have to remember that this is a showroom and the product needs to be seen more than anything (THX Spec )to sell, not for real movie going.

Arcam AV40 it’s great when it works...sold mine, I sick to the back teeth of bugs in the firmware

Speaker placement: Far over ear level,what's the speaker left of Center for(asymetric)? Screen: 104" small and it seems far up there aswell. Bright floor: Wouldnt have chosen for Home Cinema (reflection, brightening of black levels). Sony projectors aren't made to last: Brightening/Loss of Contrast and black levels over time 😓. Otherwise: Nice looking room and seatings! 🙂

With the uni-q drivers from KEF, you don't really have to place them at ears level. They have much wider diffusion than others speakers brand. I agree for that sub placement though... They should have put a second one on the right imo.
