Andrea.... I have to say this is probably one of my MOST favorite videos, you've posted. And you're so RIGHT, what a privilege it is to have a home to keep. Dirty dishes means we have FOOD, praise the Lord. A bed that needs fixing or sheets to wash, means we have a bed to sleep in etc. And best of all, grass on tee floor means we are BLESSED with children who can run AND play outdoors! Thanks so much for sharing!

The last couple of your videos have been so calming and spoken with such love and kindness, Not that your others weren’t but there is something different. Thank you for the reminder to all mothers everywhere, the love of home and family that God has brought into our lives. I’m a grandmother now but have been where you are now with your family. I give God the glory for His wonderful blessings and you have said the same thing. Just keep on growing in Christ. Thank you and bless you.

I. Love. This. Format. The music, the narration, the calm but purposeful way you move about your house getting it done. So sweet every time you pause to love on your precious little men (and the big one, too). I loved the last one you did in this manner as well. I do so love your method, manner, demeanor and philosophy - walking with the Lord, that it's hard to watch other channels that aren't as, well, maybe you understand.❤

I have especially enjoyed your past 2 videos. My daughters are recent college grads, and one is back in the nest before starting grad school. Your calm and sweet videos remind me that parenting is a lifelong journey, and stopping work and chores to connect with your 22 year old is not that different than doing so when they were 2! Perhaps we are busy and have a long to-do list, but taking the time to just put it down and connect, and as you said, "enjoy" your children is a blessing indeed. Thank you for the timely reminder:)

Mindset is so important and, as good stewards, we should take the best care of our homes and nurture the family. I agree with you on that and I also get ready in the morning even if I'm home all day. I feel like I'm ready for anything. I also like to make the bed as it makes the room feel more put together. I suppose it's because I was raised that way. I always love viewing your pretty home.

I loved your video. I've been a homemaker off and on for many years of my life. Keeping things a bit minimal, and picked up, makes homelife a little more peaceful and calm. As often as possible, cleaning up right after a "mess" (ie: dishes after dinner) spares our sanity and keeps us from having to look at a sink full of dishes at 10pm. I don't spot-clean as frequently or as well as I used to - mid-life has slowed me down. But home-making is such a blessing and gift to our families.

Hey!!! I am, in fact, new here! And I hit that subscribe button!! I love these types of videos. And the old country home feel. I live in an old mill house. Not country at all. But over 100 years old. I'm soon to be the owner, so I'll be restoring it as much as possible. I love your kitchen sink and faucet. When I showed that idea to my husband a while back, he said it wouldn't work because we will have to pull everything out. I told him that's exactly what I want to do. I'm rambling. Sorry. I love the idea of rustic pop tarts. I have some pie dough in my fridge now to make pop tarts. But I like your fluffy idea too. I'll be trying that next! Can't wait to watch more of your videos! I love your videos. I wanted to give a great suggestion. I worked in different dentist offices over the years & all the dentists I've ever worked with have always told their patients to only use soft bristle toothbrushes & not the medium or hard. Not only can they injure the gums but also over time they can damage the teeth . Check with your dentist, especially when using an electric toothbrush. I've seen so many instances where they can actually hurt the teeth. I don't want to scare folks, but just trying to help prevent damage to your gums & your teeth. 😊

So your hubby no longer teaches, he is in Full time Ministry? That is wonderful. May God bless him as he serves him in that way. My husband used to work at a church as their Technical director in worship, computer stuff, sound, etc. He really like it. It was nice to be able to pop over to the church at time and us go to the park near by for lunch. He would even take our dog to the church with him. The pastor of the church did not mind.

Hi, I'm new to your channel, and I also lived in Germany. I love your beautiful chair! If I may, there are a few things that I'd like to share (I also bought a number of pieces in Europe). The yellowish colour you got in the water is probably wax, not dirt. It is widely used to keep the wood nourished. You did a great job cleaning it! Now, I'd apply Dixie Belle wax (comes in wonderful natural scents) to protect the wood. I also noticed some little holes in the seat. Wood worms are very common in European (real) antique furniture. Just make sure the worms are not active by keeping your eye open for powdery "dust" under the chair. For cleaning wood pieces, I suggest using Simply Green. Safe and works wonderfully. Hope you find my suggestions helpful. New subscriber here!

I love your sink and faucet so much

Loved the homemade “PopTarts!” Your little boy is so precious - all of your boys are. You are so right when you speak of tidying little things, clutter lying around, every day so that it doesn’t become overwhelming and you don’t even want to do anything. I was quite surprised though when you used the steam cleaner on your kitchen cabinets. I don’t know what yours are made of, but real wood - whether it is on the floor or furniture or cabinetry - will become ruined over time if using a steam cleaner on a regular basis. The best thing would be to contact the manufacturer of your particular cabinets. That being said, I did a little research and found this: “Cabinets, as well as any material made of wood, MDF, Melamine or Thermofoil, do not like extreme heat or moisture. Cabinets are like fine furniture and require the same care and considerations. The most common impact of heat and steam releasing appliances is damage to your cabinets. The resulting damage depends on the substrate or material of your cabinetry. For example, wood cabinets can become steam burned (a white film develops) and Thermofoil, Melamine or wood alternative cabinets can discolor or even melt.”
