Have you tried doing that trick, then going in with the Milk Makeup blur stick or Mac Prep n Prime Skin Refined Zone? I am doing a video soon and using oil/moisturizer then going in with these primers has been a game changer for me too! Love Roberts tips!

@@omomo202 it was a video a few months back called skin prep secrets. The teeniest bit of oil pressed lightly under eyes as prep for concealer, stops it looking dry and claggy. I got compliments immediately 🥰🥰

Im 48 and I’ve been using that tip every since Robert first suggested it and I love it, I also take whatever is left on my fingers (very little) and use it all over my eye lid area before eyeshadow primer. I also like to use a small amount of face oil on and around my eyes at night as part of my skin care routine it makes such a difference.

I’d also suggest Lauren Mae Beauty and Angelica Nyquist. Both smaller but great channels - they are each smart, hilarious, adorable, very talented folks with unique tastes and perspectives that I’ve learned a lot from. And both strike me as honest and super hard-working. Love them ♥️ But love Robert most of all ☺️🖤

I think there's a lot of great influencers who give honest opinions but the beauty community gets a bad wrap from the few bad apples. Robert however being a true MUA, brings another level of skill to the table. There's no one like him 🙌

For the fenty highlighter I have the original one and the best way I found to apply it is by finger not brush, and I use circular motion with the smallest amount just on the high points it gives a really nice watery finish

When you first said the shade name "Growth" I heard a different word and I had to back the video up because I couldn't figure out why this soft palette had the name "Grope" for one of its shadows. 🤣🖤

I was actually going to ask you if you were considering taking a look at the Danessa Myricks palette. I saw a review of it, swatching all the colors, and the polychrome effect looks Stunning!

That Lightwork III palette is SO beautiful but also SO expensive! I know with all those specialty pigments that it's worth the price, but yeesh. I just can't. I can't!😫😭

The foundation really compliments you. Your reaction to the blush is everything. I hate how pink blush looks on me. Gorgeous color but nope. Riri does have glittery highlighters. I use the diamond one as a topper on my shadow. I got the smaller one but man her packaging is my favorite.

I swear, my makeup application game has leveled up thanks to you Robert, I thank you for helping me and a bunch of other people here, showing us what is possible vs what Instagram says is possible for us mere mortals who erase my entire makeup look if I mess up and start bawling my head off 🥺🤣 bcuz I’m trying to look like someone doing an extravagant look online….there’s more to makeup than just slapping it on apparently 🤣🥰

Agreed! I work ridiculous hours and that product is my holy grail - I actually look like I've slept when I'm wearing it as part of my full face!!

I enjoy watching Robert do eye looks. it nice how he comes up with different color schemes .

I took your advice on one of your last videos with James, where you talked about beauty sponges. You said you prefer a bouncier, more squishy texture to your sponge, and after switching my own out, I can see why! The EcoTool one I was using previously was just so hard against my skin, and it was harder to blend my CC cream. But the new sponge works like a charm!

@@sarahoard1996 I actually have two different ones I like to use! ELF makes a really bouncy sponge, and they have a set of three in various sizes that works beautifully, but I also use the Wet N Wild sponges!

@@Wolfsbaene I love the Wet N Wild sponges. At Black Friday I stocked up and got all the Spongebob and Little Twin Stars sponges. Now I don’t want to use them and ruin them. Real Techniques and Jeffree Star For Morphe make some nice ones also.

I am glad you mentioned the thing about tinted brow soaps because I had been noticing that myself recently, I think I will just use the non tinted ones from now on because I love how it fixes your brows.

The nars soft matte concealer is really good for concealing acne and scars, I far prefer it to liquid concealers but prefer those for my under eyes.

I remember when I found a Sephora store in Berlin and got super excited, because I could finally try the Fenty highlighter everyone hyped back then...well, I was more than disappointed. It's so chunky and I hoped that they would change something about it, but clearly they did not and why would they? The highlighter was very popular back then. So yeah, I can understand Robert's opinion on it.

I like the Fenty Diamond highlight. I love it actually. But I only wear it every once and a while and it's the focal point of the makeup. Fresh, dewy, barely there makeup with a glittery highlight. It can be very ethereal. Think: Childlike Empress.

Idk if you've tried the elf jelly pop dew primer, but it's my favorite for both my face and eyes. It's tacky and the makeup stays all day and no creasing even when I use the elf eyeshadow stick! Life changing (my skin is normal/dry btw but I've seen good reviews for oily skin too)

Honestly I love Fenty too and the swatches on the marketing looks sooooo pretty for that highlighter palette, but it's so lack luster once you swatch or apply it!
