Most receivers would have stepped out of bounds given this situation. Diggs instinctively went for the jugular. That’s what winners do; they don’t settle. He forced a trade because the Vikes are stuck in a play-safe mentality. Vikes let go of an elite receiver with a relentless winner’s mentality in favor of a middling and overpaid and middling qb.

Some idiots with low self esteem who feel superiority in downgrading someone for a mistake while they can only dream of being a pro athlete. Its the game of the gods, the only one where the fans get to play along and strategize with every snap. Every fan has an opinion on how these combat chess pieces should move, and your football IQ grows quickly as you start taking in games. Soon your opinions manifast as chances taken and predictions made that may bring equal portions of elation and rage. The nuances of this game are endless; a casual fan can morph into a maniac in just a couple short seasons while absorbing them all. Oh yeah, and Minnesota sensibilities are probably the most European of the 50 states (see voting history and civic engagement). Evidence that we're different is evident right from the name: MINNESOTA. Every professional sports team in our state is named after the STATE of Minnesota. Compare that to every other major sports franchise in the US...they're virtually all city teams. WE stand together as a unique and exceptional STATE in this country. Often referred to as "Minnesota Nice"...because it's deserved. Welcome aboard...SKOL!!!

Bad coverage play they should have put an extra defender on the loaded side. They pretty much put it zone even meaning if one guy misses no one else to help support.
I've been a Minnesota Vikings fan for nearly 30 years and that was without a doubt the most shockingly amazing play in our team's history. I've never before experienced the rollercoaster ride of emotion of going from completely subdued to elated beyond words 8 seconds later. It is something I will never forget. Thank you 17' Vikings and in particular Case Keenum and Stefon Diggs for the unforgettable memories! SKOL!!!!

i loved the commentary more than the play itself, are you kidding me its minneapolis miracle, those guys are legends
Diggs did a great job using one hand to keep from falling down, while holding onto the ball with the other hand and not fumbling it out of bounds.
I turned up so hard, my Apple Watch thought I was having a heart attack. SKOL!!!
See the person in the neon green vest that says "FOX" on the sideline right after he caught that pass holding a big plastic thing that looks like a giant salad bowl? (At 56 seconds into the clip) That was me. I was running a parabolic mic for Fox Sports, as I have done for around 20 years for every home Vikings game. That pass came straight at me. If he hadn't caught it it would have hit my parab. This is simply the most exciting moment in over 20 years of being on the sidelines. Unbelievable. The next year for a week before the Super Bowl in Minneapolis I worked on Pro Football Talk for NBC (was also on the sidelines for the game working for NBC), and Stefon was a guest on the show. I guided him to sit on the set and said , "You know, I was 10 feet away from you when you caught that pass!". He laughed and said, "Was it exciting?" and I said, 'YES!!!! The most exciting thing in 20 years!". He was super cool about the whole thing. What a great moment to have been part of!
Greatest play in sports history
I have to keep replaying this getting goosebumps and tearing up until my team wins us a superbowl Not giving up! #SKOL

Hope Vikings keep Case Keenum !!! He did a Great Job !!!
This and Holmes' superbowl toe tap touchdown(Steelers fan if you can't tell) are the greatest plays I've ever seen!! So much so that I continue to watch videos even though it's been years since the plays happened.
I was there, sitting down with my hands on my head when the ball was snapped. I was sitting in the section right where diggs caught it I couldn’t see the sideline when everyone was standing up. Next thing I know the the section to my right started to rise and the place erupted. No one wanted to leave. After we did leave you could hear people from blocks away celebrating. What a amazing day
Thank God the heading says Keenum to Diggs. All others just mention Diggs. It was a great carch AND Pass...
Been a Viking fan since I was 10 years old, that was 47 years ago, I've never set foot in the State of Minnesota but this has always been my Team since I started watching the game, I know about the 4 Superbowl losses because I witnessed the last 3 that they lost. So I guess I have a spiritual connection to this team and whether they win the big one or not throughout the rest of my days, l will die a Vikings Fan!!
God I relive this moment every damn time this is brought to my attention. This exciting kick ass season the Vikings had will always be remembered!!!!! I'm remember for them to have more fun incredible seasons SKOL BABY GO MINNESOTA!!!
