I seen the Matrix with my husband on our date when I was heavily pregnant with our daughter. Our last outting before Mercedes was born. My husband died August 13th this year at the age of 49. The kids and I are going to see the new Matrix when they come home for Christmas. Dan would have loved to see this movie. He was a big fan.

I am so so sorry for your loss - that is heartbreaking. my partner died in 2017, aged 45 - I still miss him, think of things I'd like to share with him, that he would enjoy. it does get easier hun, takes time - take all the time you need to grieve. glad that you and your kids will share this together, and think of him. sending much love, support and comfort to you - you'll get through this. ❤️

@@GIJane-nr2xm I think they're referring to his humbleness outside of fame, i.e all of his very kind gestures when he didn't think people were noticing or those gestures. That's what really solidified him as one of the most honest celebs, even cutting his own paycheck to get bigger stars for his movies, paying out the behind the scene people, getting them bonuses etc- Only celebrity I've ever heard doing those things.

His shy goofy awkwardness is literally the most endearing thing ever. Ugh I love him so much.

He's great, but I don't think he's Jesus. Thanks to his artist mom and father, a geologist, a planetary scholar, and a Chinese farmer, he knew the world early, and he was smart, so he made educational films that benefited the world. Artists even tour the world in COVID situations and enjoy premiers with privatejets. We just see it on OTT and KZread in a prison called Home. We're already in the virtual world, and we're 😢.... Although he will do charity work, he owns hundreds of billions of property homes, motorcycles and cars. It proves that he is not Jesus.

At 2:50 he almost cried remembering the call. A true actor who is influenced by life itself

It has long been stated that Keanu is very passionate about those aspects of the story. Also, the matrix tells us potatoes are delicious, and the lottery is a waste of money.

I have seen that type of growth in many people. For example if someone used to be hyper in their youth but get calmer as their grow older. Which is understandable with age your energy level goes down. Then there are people like Keanu who used to be constrained in their youth . And get more relaxed and goofy as they get older. My nana is the same as him which is beautiful. I wish people would become like that when they get older instead of bitter and angry. Sorry for the rant 😆

Laurence Fishburne n Hugo Weavings will be missed. Matrix it's writing, dialogues, execution and the perfect casting of each character were just awesome. Matrix series and LOTR will always remain most awesome cinema for me.

I was 6 when the first movie came out and that series of movies brought my family together to watch them. They’re perfect, they made me feel so many feelings even if I was too young to understand that universe and yet the goosebumps I got every time I watch these movies over and over again!

Oh my god! I saw every matrix movie in the cinema when they came out and I’m 41 now but Keanu genuinely looks like he did in those films!!!! Fine like a good wine ☺️☺️❤️

This is the most excited I’ve seen this man during an interview. Most times he’s so laid back and calm. Now every time I watch him, I see his character in Bill and Ted🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

The Matrix blew my mind - in the most brilliant way possible, and I loved, loved loved all of the movies - but felt let down by the ending - I'm hoping this will restore some of my... hope? (Matrix and Fight Club - 1999 - interesting times...) -

absolutely up there - esp in celebrity circles - few others belong in that group (who needs to be *more* - most kindest?) Keanu absolutely - Tom Hanks, Ryan Reynolds oh and Hugh Jackman - Dolly Parton (oh there is a delightful video somewhere - she's watching people cover her music - so positive and delighted by them all - then there is a reaction of them reacting to her reacting to their performances - it's just heartwarming), sure there are many more - including Stephen - who live their values in their personal and professional lives - support others

Love Keanu you can tell he's a little shaky and anxious in this interview more so you know his place is behind the big screen that being said he does these interviews for the movie and the fan's so God bless him for having to make these appearances you can tell how authentic he is he would definitely be the kind of person you could hang with one on one and would be completely at ease thank you for being you Keanu

I love this man - actually both of these men are two of my favorite people. Such a treat.

Keanu Reeves ranks beyond my list of favourite actors, I just realized. Trying on how now that Sean Connery has exited by grand retirement, Keanu Reeves had bumped into the vacant spot, it just didn't make sense. Thing is the influence his roles had had on me, the impact his giving body and life to the ideas portrayed in Matrix (1st one, the two others are cyberpunk fantasies without much merit in this regard) and Little Buddha have had on my bearings in life is priceless to me. His skills as an actor to convey the more subtle aspects into the living portrait of the characters and make them come out crisp and clear and relevant. Watching him killing demons as Constantine blew my mind in a different way, because there he was again now doing on film what I had been doing intensively for half a year or more in the computergame Painkiller! What an awesome film that was to watch! Doing effortless karate with his gunplay rather than just point and shoot bad guys as John Wick - Obviously. It's Keanu Reeves, come on. What other way would he possibly shoot people? Hail to the King that is not to be crowned, something like that.

I think Keanu is STILL in the Matrix during this interview LOL. Really looking forward to seeing the film 👏👏👏👏

Remember watching the first Matrix and in awe, now special effects have come a long way. Looking forward to seeing Keanu in the Neo role again with Carrie Anne Moss playing Trinity!

This is the "highest" interview I've ever watched on Late Show.....and it was glorious.

The second half of this clip is why I love the Matrix. So many interesting concepts come out of the premise of machines needing to farm humans for energy but the human mind needing to be engaged along the way.

He was on a strict vegan diet for the Matrix 4 and did lots of action fights for John Wick 4 which he just finished filming a few weeks ago. He probably got to enjoy eating regular food, as opposed to his movie star role diet food, since he stopped filming.
