Fun fact: Will Smith was the actor they wanted play Neo and he turned down the role to shoot the movie Wild Wild West and they cast Keanu instead. Will Smith said it was the biggest regret of his career.

Keanu is the only actor I’ve ever heard talk about his movies in the exact same way a super fan does. I’ve never seen that

I had a similar experience In Return of rhe King, not Matrix related though, when Frodo was about to throw the ring in Mount Doom but was hesitating. Someone shouted out "Throw the goddamn ring in already!" and people burst out laughing, i guess everyone was on edge the whole time during that scene.

Agreed. He's a perfect example of a grown mature man, who is in touch with his inner child. He lets this inner child shine through and together they walk hand in hand through life spreading happiness. (It's impossible to watch the guy and not smile). He's happy and free. And deserves every bit of it. One of the best humans on earth.

The way he describes the scenes in these movies brings joy to my heart because I love em just as much and can tell he's genuine.

Keanu feels genuinely happy these days and that fills me with life.

Yes, he seems really happy. I think doing this movie took him down memory lane. The fan base is so Loyal. I also know he’s in a relationship now. The man has had his tragedies.

Constantine was so good

Such a kind hearted and humble person.

Keanu is a rare soul, an old one at that. His determination is legendary. To have a herniated disk compress your spinal cord and start paralyzing your legs is a HUGE deal. Yet, he got his spine fused and insisted on training, knowing how much of a risk he is taking. At the same time, Hugo injured his hips and had to go to surgery for that. It just shows you, how much effort these actors put into the movies. True legends right there and it shows.

The fact that Keanu is so enthusiastic about the movies and is such a captain to Neo and Trinity ship and also a Trinity stan warms my heart!

I love how all the answers given by KEANU FUCKING REEVES can be summed up in one sentence, "Yeah man that was awesome. Everybody was fantastic." Literally the coolest dude in the universe.

I love Keanu's reaction to all his favorite scenes. He genuinely loves this as much as we do and it shows. 💝

I was surprised he didn't mention the single most powerful line for me : "you've never used them before" That was where my mind suddenly lost the floor and zoomed way way out and the concept Altered Carbon would later refer to as a "sleeve" became a worldview for me.

He’s actually a super intellectual. When he was in sydney he used to buy a vast array of literature from a local bookstore - my good friend used to get his requests in and sell him those books. His interests are vast and he’s very humble cos he’s a deep thinker.

I love how he remembers OTHER characters lines too. The guy even remembers one of the Architects lines, and those are famously confusing and hard to retain. Keanu is a genuine fan of these movies too.

The trilogy is a classic.

Keanu my favorite actor, so humble and so underrated. Even though some say he plays the same character (acting style the same) in every movie that's fine because he is kick ass in movies and games he makes cyberpunk what it is just as he makes the matrix what it is.

The fight with Smith at the end of Matrix Revolution was PURE EPICNESS! :D (Even the courtyard fight in the 2nd movie was SO MUCH FUN TOO! :D)

Literally watched the matrix again not long after the lego movie came out and I was amazed at how blatantly similar it was

as always; because it's widely unpopular. if you like something which the wide masses don't like then it's 'controversial'. just like me really not liking 'Civil War' as it's just such a mess of a movie, but most people love it so my opinion would also be 'controversial'. it's really stupid, isn't it?

Maybe because the sequels aren't as loved especially the third so admitting you actually liked something from it can surprise someone.

I...when Keanu said dodge this...my heart felt at peace. I can't explain it, but I love him.

I love that they use clips in this with the interview. Some fantastic footage.

Listening to them geek out about Matrix scenes is so damn awesome. Trinity with the dual Series 81s was iconic. If there's one thing that sets The Matrix apart from most action movies of the time it's the gun-porn and the martial arts. Sure, a lot of both is not realistic in the slightest, but it was consistent within its own established universe. Everything from the John Woo style MP5Ks in the lobby, to the black Desert Eagles in slow-motion as Agents close in.

Keanu Reeves is just great! What a upbeat guy. Love him!!

I never saw The Matrix in the theater, I bought the DVD when it first came out. It totally blew me away. I watched it five times back to back that day. In total I have watched it at least 50 times since it's release. I will re-watch it a few times each year. I can quote a lot of the dialog. Keanu is one of my favorite actors.

It seems like he recently rewatched these films, the first one is a classic! Keanu is amazing!
