I adore how this captures both Kazuya's evil and his more heroic traits. It sounds motivational and determined, very fitting for a guy who - despite his flaws - just won't stay down and is incredibly brave and fearless.

Honestly, it’s tragic. It sounds like the strong feelings of a young child, still in there, who got abused by it’s Father and thrown off a cliff to die. But because the Devil gene was in him, he survived. He saw the darkest things a child could see, and ever since then, his innocence was gone and he was filled with hatred. Unlike Jin Kazama who isn’t fully in control of the Devil Gene yet, and can actually be possessed by it, Kazuya actually *controls* the Gene. And the reason for that is, that Kazuya is evil enough by nature due to his past, that the devil gene can’t even interfere to possess him and lets him do what he wants. Poor Kazuya.. I’m sure deep down if nothing bad had happened, he’d be a really sweet child. You can kinda see it. Now he’s just a Monster out for revenge and destruction. But in every Tekken game, you can kinda see some human moments in him here and there. Just small few seconds.

This definitely gives Kazuya final boss energy which is Ironic since he was the final boss of tekken 2.

The true final boss of Tekken 2 was Devil/Angel, not Kazuya. Kazuya was just the regular boss. There were sub-bosses (all the unlockable characters, such as Anna, Armor King, Lee, P-Jack etc etc), then Kazuya, the boss, and then after all the sub-bosses were unlocked you had to face Devil after beating Kazuya. To fight Angel in place of Devil you had to select Devil as your character and beat arcade mode with him. Bear in mind that "Devil" in this game was a different character from Kazuya as opposed to "Devil Kazuya" which is just Kazuya in his Devil form. At the time of Tekken 2, the story was still about Kazuya making a deal with the devil to survive his fall and gain the power to defeat his father. Hence, "Devil". As part of that deal, Devil gave the power to Kazuya, although the exact nature of Devil's power wasn't made clear - we didn't know if Kazuya's Devil form was the result from a "demonic possesion" by Devil or if it actually was a transformation as it was established later with the concept of the Devil Gene. The fact that in later games it was made clear that it was a transformation (the result of some crazy mutant genetics) would point at the second theory, but the fact that Angel was also part of the story and that she was meant to fight Devil for Kazuya's soul would imply that it was "demonic possesion".

@@griffingower1883 Bruh. I told you there was no "Devil Kazuya" in Tekken 2. Only "Devil". Even in Kazuya's ending in that game you can see Devil AND Kazuya as separate characters. This is because of the reasons I already explained so go ahead and read the wall o'text I put there.

He doesn't need to be The Mid Boss at Stage 9 nor Others being Semi Bosses at Stage 4 or Sub Bosses at Stage 8 in Tekken 1 Tekken 2 Tekken 3 a right better different fully superior perfect Tekken 4 Tekken 5 Tekken 6 Tekken 7 Tekken 8 Tekken 9 & Tekken 10 our way The Final Boss can be just it at Stage 10 for all Series only

That is if Nintendo is making smash bros ultimate as a deluxe version, but knowing the series, I'm not so sure about every fighter returning, we did get lucky with Ultimate, but we'll have to wait and see what smash bros can bring next.

The song's official name is "Emotionless Passion" signifying Kazuya's cold, and seemingly heartless nature. He's a very tragic character, losing his mother at an early age, his grandpa, and the hate for his father who threw him off a cliff. He's fueled by pure hate... He's so numb, he's beyond even normal rage. Always hungering for power, getting stronger, darkness growing inside of him. Feeding off the pain and turning it into power. So if this song makes you sad, the composer did his job well.
