Kayak Camping - 2 days on Carolinas Best Kept Secret

Спорт

That perfect river is out there...somewhere. Kevin, Austin, Alan and I head out for a kayak camping overnighter. Looking at river options, there was not a lot to choose from due to the lack of rain and low water levels. We settled on a perfect little stretch of river and were amazed at what we found. Come along for a 2 day journey on Carolinas best kept secret!!

Something of note I love the drone footage however if you’re using a draone in your videos you need a 107 pilot license from the FFA because your videos are monetize. Failing to do so could give the pilot up to a $600,000 fine. I thought you should know.

    question for you guys - avid kayak camper here and live in the triangle so I've watched all your videos now. Do you get permission before setting up camp? I've been on rivers that have signs to contact land owners but that's rare. Do you just take your chances? I've heard horror stories of people being approached by landowners at gun point because they just set up camp on the rivers edge during a multi-day trip... As a female that generally only travels with other females, it concerns me.

  • @RiverKingsKayak

    @RiverKingsKayak

    It is a mix of camping below the high water mark, designated camp sites, back country camping in National Forests, reserved camps in parks and obtaining permission from land-owners prior to the trip. I try not to ever camp where I will likely have contact with any other people.
