I'm sure you know you can use a spacer out of UHMW or something from say Tap Plastics to lift the motor mount to negate that obtrusive lip on that Kayak pontoon.

Ok, I’ve seen this installation of the Terrova. What about the video where you wire it all up, to include the gps spot lock? TLC in Oklahoma

looks like the motor base is a least 1.5 wide. could you not just pull the lock pin out till it hit the pontoon and lift it out with the motor as one unit. in short did the pin have to call all the way out to lift the motor?

Hey this is Mark borowski from Chicago Illinois, I loved your videos it was wondering if I can get a list of all the things you put on that kayak that is awesome, I want to start a non-for-profit that helps older people go fishing that don't have any family or car is to get them there, I was wondering if you could help me with the list of everything you have on your kayak that would be great, loved your video looking forward to the next one with the trolling motor resising

I have the same trolling motor setup on my pontoon boat but it's a 24 volt. Man I just love the remote, I haven't once used the foot controls.

Man I’m so freakin OCD it would drive me out of my mind to have the trolling motor off center! Could you have shortened the rod that goes through the mount? If not I would have made some type of spacer to go under the mount, something just heigh enough so that the rod cleared the side of the boat. Luckily I have a couple of very good friends that are machinist. Although this is way out of my price range, I’m definitely enjoying the build! Roll Tide

Thanks for the videos. Heard the Angler 360 wiring under the boat tends to get corroded. What's the fix?

Just wondering, regarding the installation of the quick release device for the motor; Wouldn’t it have worked to just install a same size aluminum plate thick enough to raise the quick release base above the level of the pontoon in order to get the clearance you needed for the locking bar? That way you wouldn’t have had to install it off center which just puts your watercraft off balance weight wise and possibly makes it slightly more off when maneuvering? It certainly isn’t going to add that much weight yet it will make it possible to have your motor centered on your craft in the most optimal way.

Will you or have you showed how to hook up a Humminbird Helix 7 GN3 or larger to the Terrova.

Could you use that trolling motor on the rear of a kayak like a NuCanoe?

Hey Bro I ran across your video on your build out of the Blue Sky 360 Pro I'm interested in the kayak because I live in Miami, FL and I just 45 minutes away from the Florida Keys and what I would like to know if it would be possible to mount in the back deck of the kayak where the rudder is located and remove the rudder and add some aluminum plates top and bottom of the back deck maybe 1" thick and about 3" or 4" high aluminum plate thick enough to mount a 2.5hp or 3hp outboard motor to go off shore out to the reefs and fish. So tell me what you think???.

Just go ahead and back that up in my drive way when finished. Check in the process of being written (If the wife will let me lol). Hit me up and I'll come and help "test" fish it with you. I'll bring my 2020 sea doo fish pro for comparison.

If you shorten the motor yourself you may void your warranty.

for the quick disconnect... why not put a spacer and raise it up so there is no issue pulling out the locking bars and keep the motor centered?

What happened to you is they gave you the wrong quick release kit it should be MKA-21. Just had mine done with the same motor with a shortened shaft 27inches if I had to do it again I would do 30 inches that way I can use it on most kayaks to where your limited if you use it for more then 1. Used Anderson sb50 connectors almost 0 resistance at plug 6 gauge awg run to my battery using again Anderson plug to battery run 18 inch batter 6awg from battery out where the handle is on battery box also you will need a 55amp breaker at your battery its waterproof and made by buss. I have 3 dakota lithium batteries in a ridgid tool box 2 in parallel for trolling motor and 1 for my Garmin and electronics 55breaker victron smartshunt battery monitor that you use with app on phone. you cant use reg battery monitor for lithium

I’m a big guy. Maybe around 380lbs. Can you recommend something that can handle possibly 3 people tandem? I know that’s probably a negative but you never know unless you ask.

Blue Sky does make a triple pontoon boat check it out it might fill your needs. :)

I want one of those boats so bad.... but 5k a pop is a little much for most people..... especially the 40 hour a week crowd with kids and a life....... at that point you might as well spend a couple more grand and buy a used bass boat.
