    I have a 2022 m/x pro , with eps and aluminum wheels in silver . Bought in about October,of 2022 and have enjoyed this machine since ! Every touraian I have come across has been no problem to overcome and here in the southern most tip of Illinois we have a vast amount of challenging tourain . My m/x pro has crossed many of these and continues to impress! Thanks Kawasaki for a great machine that as I'm learning is not only a great value but years of use an enjoyment!

    Had one for a year now. Very pleased so far. Almost done accessorizing. I expect many years of dependable service from the machine. I think Kawasaki absolutely nailed the mid size sport utility here. Benchmark.

    I bought one of these in August and am very pleased with it so far. Looked at most of the others in this size and for the money the Kawi is hard to beat. Added a plow, rear work lights and a flip up windshield I am still considering the Radio. Works way better than I thought it would at plowing snow and if you intend on using it in the fall or winter the windshield is a must.

    Nice to see a review of this machine ! I bought mine in 2019 and at that time there were mostly no reviews. I had a very hard time finding a snow plow at that time but finally did find one in Oct. of 2019. I learned the machine was too new and after market parts were very hard to find but now it is much easier. I really like my mule , it has plenty of power but is governed at 45 MPH which is ok with me. I did purchase the LE model with red paint and fancy wheels and a roof and the canvas cab and windshield. Lots of traction and power if you need to climb hills. Locking rear dif. and 4 wheel drive selectable. Thank you for your review, I will be watching for more on how the mule is working for you !

    Bought a 2020 PRO MX LE in September in Ontario. So far used for hunting and hauling wood out of bush to tandem dump trailer. Filled the box with green maple for traction, then 1/2 filled a trailer that I built to haul my atvs to the bush and lots of power to pull up a long steep trail (over stumps ,rocks and holes, in Canadian Shield .More work to do on it) that I cut though the bush . At top of hill I loaded rest of trailer and went rest of way to truck and dump trailer. Hauled about 15 cord so far .Handled load and hills much better than I expected. Have 77 hours and 220 kms on it so far. Problems so far , parking brake wouldn't hold machine and load on any hill until I got it adjusted by dealer ( for 1st time) .Will do it myself in future. Right halogen high beam head light won't come on unless you tap it ,and right brace for front bumper broke off when I used it for tie down. Either inferior weld or inferior metal. Both bumper and light supposed to be repaired under warranty, but with covid they are waiting for parts. Planon doing some trail riding in spring. So far I'm satisfied 😌 but time will tell.

    Bought a new leftover in late October 2019. The 2020s were already out and I got the dealer's last green colored unit out the door for $9099. Got a 10% discount when I ordered a roof and windshield when I bought the unit and installed them myself saving even more money. As you fellas stated you get SO much for your money it's great. I only wish it were about 58ish inches wide and had a front diff-lock. With those two things it'd be perfect! Great overview, keep up the good work!

    Wow, sounds like you got a great deal! We were trying to find a 2019, but ended up getting an equally good deal on a 2020. These machines are great and while they could have a few more features and be a little faster, at their price it's a fantastic deal!

    No, we were able to fish the wires through, then follow the roll bar up to the roof light. It's been working great! Just be careful when you cut in your new switch. The knockout in the dash was slightly bigger than the switch we got. Ended up gluing the switch in.

    What is the top speed on this machine? How well does it pull out of the corners if you're really hammering on it? How good is the throttle response? Great review!

  • @TrailPass

    @TrailPass

    3 жыл бұрын

    Top Speed is governed to 45 mph from the factory. This is definitely more of a utility machine, not a sport machine. Up in the mountains where we use it we've never needed more power. Throttle response is great for this type of machine. It is not jerky going over bumps, but when you lay into it, it picks up speed nicely. With it's roughly 700 cc single cylinder it really won't get sideways on you, but around tricky trails it feels very confident and comfortable. Thanks for watching and stay tuned for more content!

    Do you think this would capable of doing some light/moderate trail riding? I think this would be the ultimate side by side for both work and play.

  • @TrailPass

    @TrailPass

    The Mule lineup is definitely more on the utility side but still offers a great ride. It has been great for cruising on some trails and doing yard/property maintenance for both my dad and father-in-law (both have purchased MXs in the past few years). That being said if you really want to rip and/or your friends have more sporty machines you may want something more in the sport-utility class like the Polaris General or Can-Am Commander. Those machines are considerably more expensive for similar options but have suspension tuned for higher speed trail running with some utility in mind. For us, the Mule MX works great. On trails at 5-15 mph it feels very stable and confident and you can open it up faster on smoother terrain. The short wheelbase makes it very manageable in the woods while still offering ample storage and utility. The 4x4 works great and with those Duro tires that come standard it is a very capable machine from day one with no aftermarket upgrades required.

  • @TrailPass

    @TrailPass

    @@mattneily5507 absolutely, you're very welcome. If that's the case, I think that the MX would be a great choice. My wife loves driving this machine. With the shorter wheelbase and power steering it's very easy for her to control. Finding a machine with good tires, eps, and doors for less than $15k is becoming harder to do. Add a roof for $100 and maybe a windshield and you could be comfortable cruising the trails for many years to come. I'll be sure and make a full review after we have put it through its paces for a while. Only 30 miles on this machine now! Take care and let us know if you decide to purchase one!

    If you wouldn't mind confirming are the tires literally all the same size like we're talking final drive here on my side by side on my Kawasaki mule pro effects 2018 eps the tires in the rear were shorter and wider while the tires in the front were taller and skinnier and I'm trying to figure out after calling Kawasaki themselves they told me all tires all the way around should be the same size for the best results of the four-wheel drive drivetrain and survivability it can damage the drivetrain if the tires are different sizes front to rear rear to front can you confirm please and thank you

  • @TrailPass

    @TrailPass

    3 жыл бұрын

    The tires in the front and rear are both the same height. Generally these machines have wider rear tires for better handling characteristics, but should be the same height front and rear as to not damage the 4x4 components.

    @@TrailPass hey thank you to confirm that I think my stock tires were different dimensions as far as height goes in the rear in front I recently got a new set of rims with tires with the same thing going on and I noticed my four-wheel drive on hard pack didn't function properly and I met a lot of resistance on the road and when I say four-wheel drive I mean all-wheel drive it's all wheel drive until you lock the rear but now I got some stock street tires and I can drive all wheel drive on the road and it's very nice and comfortable sadly though the tires are really small diameter and one of my machine tops out 45 I'm really only doing 35
