I have this machine and if you decide on the trailer hitch with ball, remember to remove it before you dump a load, but it's easy to forget. The tailgate will smash the ball and put a lovely dent on her as you dump. I also installed a 60'' KFI plow with Warn winch that plows very well. This is my 4th Mule and have never had an issue with any of them.

Thanks much for the in-depth review. Planning on purchasing this exact model to replace a 99 Club Car golf cart that has served me well. In a golf cart neighborhood, where speed is not a factor and I know this will last.

You’re very welcome! Thank you for your comment! It’s funny you say that because we always have coined the Mule models as “golf carts on steroids”. These things are absolutely tough. They’ll do all the things a utility machine would do but are a little more tame for campgrounds and neighborhoods. I think you’ll love it!

@@benattwiggcycles Price wise it's the better choice considering the spike in golf carts. Going to trick it out. Mirror, bed liner the works minus a winch. No need for those. The new windshield designs allow access to the storage compartment in hood I think.

@@34dawgsgo That sounds awesome! I haven’t checked out the pricing on golf carts lately but I can imagine they are pretty darn close. And you’re correct, the windshields for the new Mules does allow access to the front storage. I’ll tell ya, Kawasaki really has this machine dialed in pretty well. If I had to be picky, I would like to see them add a factory trailer hitch to the back of the machine. But other than that, I love these Mules.

We use it to drive on our property, haul misc tools, have loaded cinder blocks, we pull a ground plane to keep the driveway smoothed out, have connected pull straps and pulled some walls down when remodeling our shop, and just general utility cart. Really nice running machine. Easy to drive and get into and out of 4 wheel drive. Pretty high priced, but does a good job at what it was made to do

A few years ago my boss had a 2007 610 mule that he let me use for deer hunting and I thought it was a really great machine. So three years ago I had the chance to buy a 2016 XC awesome machine. Now I got the chance to buy a 2022 new and just waiting for it to arrive. This one is the camo model so its a touch different. But I don't like the tires and rims so I'm getting new ones and in all my searching I cant find the wheel offset to buy new rims can you let me know and thanks for the video now I know what I'm getting hope it gets here soon by the way the boss uses mine now but still has the 2007.

Thank you!! Both great units. Pioneer can get up to about 40mph while the Mule is governed at 24mph. Kawi offers 3 year warranty, while Honda is only 1 year factory. Mule feels like it has more space in the cabin so just keep that in mind if you’re tall. Honestly if it came to me personally I’d get the Mule, I’ll just say it haha. It’s tough as nails.

Hello, I’ve had many Motorcycles, Dirt Bikes, ATVs, and UTVs throughout my many years, However, I’m looking for a laid-back two-seater for my dog and me for primarily back macadam/dirt roads and occasionally ride the local off-road recreation area. Can you play in mud with one of these and are they comfortable and ride half decent I’m thinking about one of these I’m just wondering if they are good and won’t go through belts a lot I’ve seen people trail ride these and they do really good I’ve just got to know how good I plan on doing yard work and taking it to my local mud bog I’ve known mules to be very good I’m just wanting to know just how good

Hey there! The Mule is much more of a hard working utility machine than it is a play machine. They do well in the trails but lack the power to get thru mud pits and so on. Plus the suspension on these is set pretty stiff so you can load down the rear dump bed.

@@benattwiggcycles thanks for the info I might look at another Utv the mahindra retriever 750 it’s powered by a kholer command pro it’s a v twin I think they can get used ones if they don’t have any used ones in stock and I can get a trailer to go with it it’s also a work machine but it’s play capable too it will be able to play in the mud I was looking at the mule because it was very affordable but that’s ok it might be good for some people though

@@kirbyvanduzer6565 You’re welcome! If you’re looking for a nice in-between machine, check out the Ranger 500’s or Ranger 570’s. They are solid little machines and have both work and play capabilities. I worked at a place for a very short time that sold Mahindra products…absolutely nightmares unfortunately. Nothing but an owner’s headache. Couldn’t get parts for, the machine was very cheaply made; I just wasn’t a fan.

@@kirbyvanduzer6565 Yes indeed! The PRO-MX is a phenomenal machine. I think Kawasaki did right coming out with a machine like that. Before the MX, they never had anything in that mid-size range except for the MULE SX and the MULE 4010’s. Which, power-wise, don’t quite add up to the PRO-MX. We have an MX in stock right now I’m going to try and get a full walkaround on here soon.

Is the engine quiet? Is the engine as quiet as the Yamaha

​@@remi1213 Oh my yes this is much quieter than the Wolverine models. The Wolverines are known for their quiet engines but they are still a tad louder since they are Sport/Utility machines. The Mule is a very job oriented unit. No crazy frills or thrills. Top speed of 24 mph. The Wolverine models start with a parallel twin 850 and go up to a 1000cc. They are much more sport oriented compared to the Mules.

Nothing comes close to a Honda. PERIOD.

bought one for 16500 cdn because i could not find a honda pioneer in western canada. Completely broke down after 5 hours of use 12 hours from the dealer. Breather froze over and caused pressure in the engine blowing the dipstick out spraying oil everywhere. Completely gutless, stock tires are horrible, and very overpriced. 0/5 stars
