Kawasaki KRX 1000, keep REPLACING Your Air Filter!!

The KRX 1000 Air Filter is a BIG issue you should keep an eye on. Here is a little video about what we found on our KRX and others. Also worth mentioning is a Particle separator will do NOTHING for you if you still don't change the filter regularly.
Maintenance and inspection is your only defense until a better filter is offered for the KRX 1000. Spend some to save some.
Check out our videos here on the new UNI air filter. It’s better, cleanable, and reusable!
Thanks for watching and all your support!!

Thanks for this video Jake. I’ve had nothing but issues with dust getting into the intake with stock and R2C filters until I switched to a Baldwin filter. Like the Donaldson, it’s about a half inch longer than the stock filter and it works perfect, like it should.

After finding and watching this video, I tried everything that was suggested, The three notches, Grease And A spacer on the bottom. All with a new filter .I still had dirt in the air tract. There was no signs of it getting past the seals, so it had to come right through the filter and this was with 250 miles Of light riding .I did this while I was waiting on the delivery of my new UNI.I had one on my 08 teryx and loved it ,cant wait to get one on the KRX tomorrow. Thanks for everything Jake.

Someone said their filter was 1.5 inches longer than skock.I put a 1/2 inch spacer on the bottom on my filter to help with a tighter fit, and the door would not close. Two questions: Now that you have had ayear of changing filters more often, how often are you changing your filter?
