I bought a 2017 Chevy Silverado LT Z71 recently with 22000 miles. Almost a new truck. It had nice cloth seats. I had black katskin leather with white stitching installed to match the white stitching on my factory door panels. I love these new leather seats. High quality. And It increased the value of my truck.

I have mine ordered but I did a two tone with leather on the outside and suede in the middle so it should be a nice look and got the center console and the doors done also

That’s a very informative video. I just ordered mine, I got solid black with the rumble bee embroidered on the back. That installed is going to cost me $2218. He then told me that if I want the doors and center counsel changed that that was going to cost another $300. Did they they do that to you too? I also live in Vegas and the guy that is going to install it is in Henderson.

@@WhatsTheT I actually contacted katzkin directly bro and did it myself. I got my car from Towbin in Henderson and they were trying to add on their taxes lol.

I’m here with a update..Katzkin installer came to my house got everything done in 9 hours..perfect I love it..they have financing for $100 a month for two years..I do want my scat pack logo on it ..which they say they couldn’t add

With an interior like that I’d park my car and leave the doors open! Very nice!

Wow I know what leather I'm getting... But the leather in the ram TRX looks good

American automobile manufacturers have traditionally not been good with interior leather, so it isn't just Dodge and is the way it's always been. Although the interior in my Challenger SRT8 is excellent, and still looks good after 10 years. However, I am familiar with katzkin and is even a step above European leather

Thanks for get info! I had this one guy argue me down on my Katzkin reveal video that Katzkin especially the color I chose was tacky and also that it was cheap and would fall apart in a few years. Lol. I’ve heard nothing but great things about them and with me having leather in most my cars Katzkin feels a lot more premium. Even a Jaguar I used to have started getting a tear in the leather.

I’ve got the cloth in my last two mopar. My first one had Napa leather and suede. I’ve always preferred that over straight leather just because I’ve never seen it worn as bad as leather does

That's a solid assessment bro. You're absolutely right because most leather tends to wear. I'm hoping Katzkin lasts longer than the traditional leather. From the research I've done it typically does and you can tell off the bat the leather they use is superior

I REPLACED ALL MY FACTORY LEATHER IN HELLCATS WITH KATZKIN BECAUSE ITS AN UPGRADE BIG TIME

To anyone that wants an update to these seats …. I purchased the Red color option for my 2019 Accord Sport on June 14th 2022. October I noticed an area of concern. My driver seat had a weird sign of peeling? The seat is stained a darker color which I was told to beware of “Blue Jeans”. I wear blue jeans to work so I guess I would have to place a towel or something to protect the seat. Which I choose not to since I paid $2K and would be ridiculous to drive around with a towel underneath me everyday. So pretty much after only four months I had to return to the place and complain. They took a quick look and took a picture with his cellphone told me to fill out a form for Warranty to see if it was covered. Honestly I really regret making this purchase. I wish I can have my factory seats back. Having to worry what fabric of clothing you wear or if the in and out of the car will shorten the lifespan to only a couple of months is totally not worth it at all. Then I came to find out that it’s not even leather but vinyl???? That explains why they told me to go buy a product for vinyl care? Idk what’s going to happen. But if anyone is interested in trading the stock Black seats for these red Seats I’ll pay for the shipping both ways. I have pictures videos and can even FaceTime or WhatsApp if need to see. Anyone else has had issues with their seats?

have had leather seats from the factory in my 2010 camaro, They are now just starting to Crack, So i don't think CHEVY uses Cheap Leather

do the heated and vented seats still work well after adding that red leather?

100% bro. They make sure the heating and/cooling system still works depending on your car upon installation. The leather is optimized for it.

Personally I am an oem leather kinda guy lol but that ish you got looks great also just not worth 2,000 bucks in my eyes that’s where I would be struggling to pull the trigger when I could put 2 gs under the hood. 🤣🤣 but ether way it looks good I do like that red and black with the Diamond stitching.

OEM "leather" is actually vinyl for most American car manufactures. IF you get a top tier model they MIGHT use real leather.

The foam is the same from the factory fam. Katzkin just provides the leather kit that will replace the own cloth
