Colt without a Power Stroke ? Man, I couldn't do it. Love my 6.7 PS. Had a F150 and traded for a new F250. I would NEVER go back. I may have to look for a new favorite Power Stroke channel.

I just couldn’t go from the horsepower of a 6.7 power stroke to a 6 cylinder cummins, id love to see content with the powerboost think it would be super cool. I know 5 guys that farm around us that have had huge problems out of their 5.3 and 6.2 gmc’s from fuel pumps to bending rods in the 6.2. Love the content man whatever route you go id love to see it. I had those in one of my trucks. They held up really well. Two years later they still looked brand new.

With the way people act down here in lousiana when a storm comes or economic collapse i wouldnt buy a gas truck i specifically bought a 7.3 because of the "fuel shortage" bullshit from last year drove around 2 days looking for gas fuck that noise plus if i ever need to can run red if it ever gets bad

I have an F250 Tremor with the Godzilla motor. I would recommend it. It gets all the big boy jobs done but doesn't have the maintenance expenses of a diesel. It's not loud and there are no re-gens. It is expensive in gas though at $5 a gallon. We recently bought some land and built a little cabin on it. If you think you might want to do that then I think you should. It's awesome having your own place to go out in the woods. I don't personally have any interest in running a cabin off a truck, but I think that's going to vary. Some guys probably are interested. I do most things with just a Jackery at mine and then use a gas generator once in a while if I need to.

My 19 had the grey Katzkin leather, I love it!

It looks good. Nice that it has zippers. Makes it much easier to install. The wrinkles disappear overtime. I have always purchased trucks and modified everything on it.

Thanks for the skinny on the Katzkin leather. $1400 was well spent on that. Don't buy the F-150 Lightning. TFL Truck (you tube channel) put a trailer behind one and it went 80 miles before they had to plug the damn thing in. The Ram 2500 Mega cab will have to be ordered so it'll be a long while before you get it. The Cummins is tough to beat as far as issues go. The Godzilla engine in the F250/F350 is only available with the 10 speed transmission which has issues. It'll be a 2023 regardless and can't be ordered until sometime in October, if Ford doesn't push the date back due to all of the supply chain nonsense that's going on. Colt's channel. Colt's way. The purse swingers living behind the iron curtain don't understand what freedom is. You have our vote on which truck should be your next if you choose to, Ram 2500 Mega cab with the Cummins. Doggos cameos are the best, especially Tucker. Mello lil' dude. Cheers!

Those wrinkles will go away. I’ve had mine around 20 months now and so far the seats are holding up great. It was a really good upgrade on my 21’ XLT Tremor.

I left the diesel as well Colt. Went with a gmc 3/4 with the 6.6 gas. So far so good. Hard to part with a truck you have done that much work to!

Hey Colt, nice video, love the seats they look great. I currently have the 18 F150 3.0 diesel love it, I think 21 was the last year they made it. Yeah you got to love the video experts, I always wonder if they know so much why are they working for someone else or don’t have a job. If you have any problems with the ac starting on a gen set, get a soft start! I can run two acs on my 9000W gen set. Pretty awesome. Also beware of the idling time on the truck voiding the warranty. Maybe the gen setting doesn’t count at idling?

The 6.6 gas Silverado is a pretty sweet gas engine.

Got an alternative idea for ya. I believe those 6R140s support PTO. I'm sure there's a bunch of different brands and I've never used a truck version (I have one for my tractor) but Boss makes "bossgen" PTO generators. You can hook that to your current truck, and they can be sized larger than the powerboost has. I think the powerboost is cool but it is what it is. 7.2kw is okay, but I'm going to be you're going to want to do more. Besides, hooking up and using a PTO generator is a couple videos in itself, I think that content is right up your alley vs just something manufacturer has as a factory option. Anyway good luck with whatever you do dude.

The new GMC AT4X is a very nice truck. I just was truck shopping and looked at one. If I could of rationalized the price they want for one I would of bought it. Sounds like you would actually use front lockers and the other features often though. I just bought a Chevy Z71 instead.

I would definitely keep this truck, unless you don’t want to have all kinds of vehicles in your driveway. I think going gas or electric would be a better route for the needs and ideas you mentioned. Being an electrician I feel you would have a ton of content. If you went Cummins you’d just be doing very similar content that you have already done with this one. If you’re looking for content and a totally different experience I think electric or gas. God bless brother and stay safe out there

Got a quote for these like 6 months ago but couldn’t pull the trigger now I feel different

I had Kat skin in my 13 f15 I had it all western black stitch with pink as my stitching. Oh how I miss her. Now I have a blacked out lifted 16 f150 with aloha leather. Don’t like them as much. My buddy owns a upholstery company so I got him to add the extra padding with diamond stitch.

With all you’ve done to that truck to completely customize it to your needs, you should definitely keep it. I own a megacab, and I love how much room it has! But if you keep that truck, you can pull anything! And go with the F-150 eco boost. Second choice is the megacab. But the only thing you will gain with that is space in the back.

Any of those trucks sound great! I am contemplating a 3500 cummins or the 7.3 gas for my next work truck. I have 3 6.7s and love the diesels but I would like to try something different when I trade one truck in. Seems like most of the big three brands are all in the same realm when it comes to quality these days.

I didn't leave a comment right away I have a f250 that's why I'm here. My last truck was a ram 1500 great truck. I've had a pickup most of my adult life I would stay with a super duty if I were you. The 1/2 will do most everything but there is a difference.

Ive heard rumors about a powerboost-esque super duty. Might wait to see what they do the next year or two and then make a decision if they drag ass. Vehicle prices now are stupid anyways, nothing that a good brandon recession cant fix in due time.

I did the same trading in my Cummins for the 7.3 Tremor. Got it tuned by 5Star to put it over 400hp to the wheels and for $600 I get a similar feel to the diesel power band. I do miss being able to punch the throttle and still get decent fuel economy though, the Godzilla uses Clyde to drink fuel

I've heard that 7.3 is a beast, but fuel economy is piss poor. I went from the 6.7 to a 5.0 f150 and like the 1/2 ton. Rides and maneuvers a LOT better, and doesn't get stuck near as quick as my f350. ?? May want to give that powerboost a shot, especially since the MPG and power is good, not to mention freaking diesel is ridiculous.

Keep the truck! Can always just buy another to add to your fleet, IMO
