Katy Siegel is the Thaw Chair at Stony Brook University and Senior Curator of Research at the Baltimore Museum of Art. Exhibitions include Joan Mitchell, with Sarah Roberts, opening at the BMA March 6th; Odyssey: Jack Whitten Sculpture, 1963-2017, with Kelly Baum; Mark Bradford’s presentation at the Venice Biennale, with Christopher Bedford; and Postwar: Art Between the Pacific and the Atlantic, 1945-1965, with Okwui Enwezor and Ulrich Wilmes at the Haus der Kunst, Munich.
Sarah Roberts serves as Andrew W. Mellon Foundation Curator and Head of Painting and Sculpture at SFMOMA. She was the primary author and editor of the Rauschenberg Research Project, SFMOMA’s first scholarly digital publication and organized the museum’s 2017 presentation of the Rauschenberg retrospective. Recent exhibitions include Carol Bove and John Chamberlain: Converse; Louise Bourgeois Spiders; and the major retrospective Joan Mitchell, co-organized with Katy Siegel of the Baltimore Museum of Art.
